What I meant was similar to you..

City won today.. pretty much 2nd team plays Tuesday

City lost today.. pretty much patch up and strongest team to try and claw the GD back.

The draw should ensure a blend of resting one or two for each game before the CL final.

We aren't playing New Saudi.
 
It does put a huge pressure on City which is nice, but Villa realistically aren't good enough to take points off them, and the way we're hobbling over the finish line the last two weeks suggests we won't get full points on the way anyway. At least we've got a weeks rest before Madrid.
 
Now… back to business.

Clearly we’re getting hammered by Southampton next game.

Although, we could sacrifice Zombie Dreamie - that might get us a draw.
 
The problem with City is that De Bruyne hasn’t been injured for ages as usually happens
 
They have one match left in their season, where a win will see them crowned champions; they have a full week to prepare for it to make absolutely sure

So they will get inside their own heads & fuck it up badly
 
I know Mahrez is their top scorer this season, but he has a spotty record with penalties (esp.pressure penalties) and it slightly surprises me that he still takes them.
 
In a way this makes it easier right - less hope but easier. There is no chance of us being equal on points with them if we win our last two games. So we just have to win, and if they lose or draw against Villa we win the title. So we don't have to do that bullshit like we did years ago away against Palace, we can take Tuesday game at our pace - who gives a fuck if we win 1-0 or 9-0, it will make no difference if City win against Villa.
 
For all we know - this might have been designed by Pep - to ensure that we have some little hope and play our best players against Southampton, knowing full well his team will fuck Villa up good come the final day. I ain't falling for it Pep - I ain't falling for it - take the title it's yours ... we want to win the thing you can't win !!!!

Not sure I'd love him if he played for my team. He's talented but flaky and I reckon I'd be pretty frustrated that he doesn't produce more.
