Most players playing in the Portuguese league are either (i) overpriced ( see @rurikbird excellent post from a few months ago) or (ii) Mendes clients who are going to be parked at clubs so that they catch the attention of big clubs and sold so that they make insane profits for Mendes. So better avoid them

A reduced squad

You have to wonder what's going on. Mike Ashley isn't known for straight dealing, but this kind of fallout does seem to follow Rafa around.
Incidentally that use of "accordingly" is a bit like Brendan Rodgers' use of "synonymous", i.e.not a kind of English that I've ever come across before.
