In fairness, it's no surprise they think they'll get away with bellitling local fans when the powers that be are so blase about it.

LFC must be the only big club with OOT fans who genuinley dislike the City of their adopted club. I've come across southern fans who revel in reading the S** and using pathetic outdated 'scouse' stereotypes. Maybe it's a deep rooted historical thing. But who cares as long as we're winning, right...

Come on, I've seen and heard plenty of OOT fans imply that we can't attract the top echelon of players because of the City. He just said in a more snide, resentful way. And he's got previous for it. He no doubt slags us off relentlessly on Green Kop, or wherever the fuck he goes on (I'm just taking the piss)

Anyway, I've said my piece. It's a senstive subject and I won't have any cheap, lazy stereotypes thrown around about my home town, especially from people who haven't spent 10 minutes there.

Just for the record , I seem to remember laying into Ryan in a not dissimilar fashion when he actually did make a rather disparaging remark about the old home town. He quite rightly got a severe pasting for it.
Hence I left this one well alone when it started, I think the "Run's" postscript was a clue.

Still top Marks to David and Sunny for doing the right thing, or what they thought was, sorry if that last bit sounds patronising it is not meant to be.

Probably yes, we are fiercely defensive and loyal to our City, but he was on a wind up anyway.

There is a definite pull for players to go to the London Clubs, rather than the provinces, but hey ho not to worry as they are usually Champagne Charlie's and no loss
