In the very long term I can see us being in the better position, whilst our owners may feasibly change, or leave the footy matters alone, theirs won't sell them (cos they want 1.5bn apparently), & aren't gonna pay back those loans out of their own pocket either.
Who knows though, if klopp is comfortable working with the committee from the outset & is more tactful he may be able to ensure he gets the players he wants more often than not.
I'd argue Rodgers seemed to be his own worst enemy based on reports, if he didn't get the player he wanted he'd just settle for their pick. The obvious thing for him to have done was to have three or four players of the type he wanted at different price ranges so the third choice would still fit the side (if of lesser quality), & wouldn't be a ballotelli.

I've no problem personally with the odd jibe at a departing manager, regardless of what they did or didn't do, if you're in the public eye it's fair game. I do, however, have a problem with piss poor work like this which may have been a moderately funny joke as a newspaper sketch but not as an actual poorly put together clip that is unfunny mere seconds in. But then creativity and originality are going to shit, so I suppose it's fairly in keeping with the times.
I'm not shooting the messenger, mate, but it sounds like the journo's exaggerated at best. Certainly about the academy - Rodgers has been there to watch games on a few occasions. I can imagine the arrogance/self-confidence rubbed some up the wrong way, although quite a few really liked him.
So leaving work at 4pm means you can't work in the evening? It's not like there's something you can connect computers together so you can work from anywhere.

Why the difference? The captain is the captain, whoever it happens to be at the time.
The difference between hendo and Stevie is there for all to see. Stevie was the leader, the Club legend and is potentially sounded out for a role in the New management set up. Hendo was not even a clear choice as new Captain. That he has to inform the team says a lot about the lack of leaders off the Pitch this club has.
Yeah, but he'd have done it like this: #Rodgers, and then each squad member would have asked consecutively 'Is he gone'? and Jay would reply with a winky face.
I'm still trying to decide if this is the worst or best 'made up shit to bash the club because I can' post.
He's got plenty of competition, and that's just via his own posts.
My point is that the players doesnt answer to Hendo. If their manager is sacked they should be informed so properly by the management, whoever it is, in charge at the Club. However, Stevie G had a position (that Hendo is nowhere near) whcih made him a man that can carry the Clubs Message. Whoever that bothered to inform Hendo should also be capable of informing the Squad when these Things happen.
If it wasn't for your unmatched bitterness I would actually be able to win the competition!!! ;-)

I am a Natural fan of Klopp. I can see his kind of personality more me than i.e. Ancelotti. However I am huge admirer of Ancelotti. I respect what he has done and would be very happy to see him here, even though Klopp make me just smile due to his Heavy Metal personality. Fine line, but quite a difference anyway.....
