They were already spending a tonne of money before, without CL as I mentioned a few posts above.
With CL.....the Kroenke's have real ambitions to kick on from last season's failures. Almost spurred them on to do more this.
He has 15m followers....about 15x more than the next man. He doesn't need clicks or follows & I don't think he particularly cares. I doubt between all the tweets he puts out he's checking to see what time frame he'll get 15.1m followers or 15.2m followers etc.
Go watch his documentary and you'll see the passion he has for what he does, he's not just some geezer sitting behind his desk.....he's literally on the move 24/7 speaking to a whole bunch of people from all over the world.
I might start a new Tsitter account called “StevieM’s Transfer Tru Fax” and post things like :
“Timber to Arsenal : no fuckin’ idea what’s going on but please click me”.

I'm glad Nkunku to Chelsea has gone through, they haven't signed anyone for ages, I was a bit worried about them.

Go for it, although I'd have figured you have other commitments than build up a profile on social media in an industry which is hard to crack.

Except people do leak details...they probably get paid handsomely to do so in all, whether it's completely true....true to an extent, true without having the full details or false.

I have a fairly good idea which posters spend the most time on it though… 😀
I’ll make a note of that.
Lots of people here spend a lot of time on it, or at least often enough checks between intervals.
Go back the last few pages of each thread and you'll see how many different posters link stories from twitter.
Fuck a career if £100m over 4 years is offered. Imagine the life that buys you and your whole family for their lifespans. And if you are philanthropic then you can make a very real difference to many people's lives.

Because that's what got him 15m followers. I can only guess what that equates to in income. I know a few photographers on YT have 1m plus subscribers and they are making ca.£200k plus freebies. Surely football would generate more per 1m followers.
