Haven't Denver invested quite heavily in Tebow around the city n' stuff? I don't think they'll bin him, at least not yet. It's an interesting move to fire him - but they never replaced Marshall AND they lost Elvis for the whole year ...
I was sitting next to a Broncos season ticket holder at the NFL London game. He wasn't convinced by Tebow at all. But then, he has only been used in specialist red zone schemes so far. I'd like to see him given a run in the team. See how he holds up under pressure. In preseason he reverted to his old idiosyncrasies when the line bore down on him. If he waves the ball out a few feet from his hip he's going to turn the ball over loads in the league.
It would be harsh to take Orton out though. Although Denver are losing hard, he is throwing mad yardage. Best season of his career and well in with a pro bowl shot.
