NFL Regular Season Thread 2010

Yeah. That's poor form. Detroit should have insisted on South Bend style end zones and a clear centre field.

Is that just with diagonal lines?

Anything involving Suh's head collecting duties I'm in favour of.

I was probably the only Bear who cheered when he destroyed Cutler. Throwy little cunt. Take that.

I understood the start of the Haynesworth thing. Then it went on and on, and it was like, dude, what are you doing? He's your best linesman. Just let him tear shit up. Don't motherfuck him in front of his whole team. And Shanahan is saying he can't guarantee McNabb is going to be there next season? Well, nobody is going to take on the INSANE contract they gave him, so they'd have to just cut him a cheque. I reckon there's more chance of Shanahan not being there. They're paying Hollywood money to Hayneworth and McNabb and Shanahan has binned both of them. Ridiculous. The Redskins are a joke of an organisation now, from Snyder all the way to the turf.

I fucking love bowl season

The LDS Express is giving UTEP a proper panelling. 27-3 about ten seconds into the second quarter. This could get horrible.

Alabama in the Capital One Bowl.

They certainly matter in financial terms, and the games themselves are important too. I mean, historically nobody other the LDS is going to give a fuck about BYU hosing UTEP tonight, but the prestigious bowls are big games, and the title game obviously has a definite prize.

You often get some big inter-conference games you don't usually get to see, which is nice. Spartans-Tide is one of them this year. Notre Dame are playing The U. Utah-Boise should be good on Wednesday, although Wynn is out for the Utes. I'm interested in Missouri-Iowa, Okie State-Arizona, FSU-South Carolina, Florida-Penn State, LSU-A&M, and Nevada-B.C. And all the BCS bowls, obv.

This red zone thing is shite. It should be a red button option, not instead of a live game. Too much, yet no time to analyse or anything. Seems to be for fantasy football people. I don't get the obsession with fantasy football. I prefer reality.

It's one of those things that seems like a good idea, but there are too many games and it's overload. It's like a live Gameday. But without Primetime.

It's about time someone hooked Collie for the season.

Eagles getting panelled. Giants are doing it. I can see them going deep.

I was quite looking forward to it but its for people with no attention span......

American's I suppose 🙂

Giants were up 24-10 against the iggles, and lost 38-31 on a 65 yard punt return by DeSean Jackson with 00.00 on the clock. The giants P (a rookie) kicked it righto to him, idiot.

I really really hate DeSean Jackson ...

Ha ha ha. I love Jackson. He should take his helmet off as he scores TDs.

My boy Tebow is bringing it LARGE. 2 first downs. 2 pass completions. 1 rush. 2 TDs. That's called efficiency, people. Shame there's no defending going on at either end in that one.

Sky have cancelled red zone after one week apparently 🙂

Keep it as a red button option sure, but it was awful yesterday.

I bloody well hope so, my head's still spinning.

Having to add in commercials didn't help. I don't mind listening to Cadle and Halling when they've got a decent guest in but there was no point in them being there for the first half of the show.

Well intentioned but please not again.

In Horse Feathers Groucho takes a moment away from chirpsin with the ladies in the crowd to run onto the field and stop Darwin scoring by smashing into their wide reciever as he streaks away from Pinky and Baravelli.

And that is one of the more realistic bits of the game.

*sigh* Genius.

Plus, I like Purslow Martin, the stroke-faced motherfucker.

Who the hell is Purslow Martin and what is he doing in my post?

Congrats MC. I hate the packers and particularly the vikings so I'm glad you guys won it.

But you could have left favre alone for Suh to finish off in week 17 🙁
