NFL Regular Season Thread 2010

Sadly not! His safety summed up the Lions perfectly though.

You'll get your first win of the year over Detroit today, comfortably.

He went in for Schaub for a bit, but couldn't find his helmet on the sideline. I suspected perhaps his head coach had hidden it, but he managed to take someone else's and get on the pitch. Minus his helmet radio obviously.

Here he is, the bumbling fuck.

Dan Orlovsky can't find his helmet

Sadly he's probably better than Stanton 🙁

I'd rather Zac Robinson started, and I've never seen him play. Once Backus gives Peppers his obligatory free shot at the qb we may see.

I like Zac Robinson. He got hosed a bit his final year for the Cowboys as Bryant and Hunter missed loads of games. He played really well in the senior bowl. I'd like to see the Lions try him too.

Wait. Or not. Maybe next week?

What I'm really hoping for is Hester to do the exact same thing as Johnson in the final seconds of the game but not get called on it. That would be excellent.

It'll probably happen. There's been at least 5 times I've seen since which are worse and given a TD, some on review as well.

If Megatron scores he shouldn't hand the ref the ball in case he's not completed the process. Just hold it forever.

Fucking hell, just reading through my posts at the time. It's 12 weeks later and it's STILL the worst call in history. Although I am sleeping better 🙂

Rico, is it only me or maybe, just maybe, Garrett is 'ok' to be our head coach? He should really be 3-0 and the team plays for him ...

If we don't make Tashard our #2 next season, it will be a travesty. I think he may be on par with Felix even.

Flagging Suh for no reason will do though.

I love beating Baltimore. Theres nothing like it.......

So come ed lads who's lifting the trophy this year?

Nuts on the chopper time.

Hopefully not the Steelers with their rapists QB, thug LBs and their America's Team attitude.

The Giants (unfortunately as I hate them) will win.

[/quote]Ha. Not in any way, shape or form bitter then. We'll never be Americas team, but we content ourselves being Americas most successful team.
We wont win it this year, and i agree, i fancy the Giants too.

ha ha, i hate the steelers - but it's a 'good hatred' - it's the same reason i hate the mancs.

i wonder if it would be good for the NFL if it's JEts vs Giants in the SB? The Gmen's pass rush is insane - and the JEts defense is well, the best.

You recall you support the Cowboys, yeah?

I'm just taking the piss ... but the Steelers have had more fuck ups (Holmes, Big Ben, etc) recently, and the 'Boys - since their horrific Pacman/Tank experiement - have been rather 'good boys' (bar the record).

Oh, absolutely.

It's amazing what you can get away with when you can actually win playoff games though.

Anyone see Darnell Dockett's tweet a couple of weeks ago about a certain Eagles quarterback? "Vick doing so good he got dogs cheering for him." Ha ha ha!

ha ha - that's terrible ...

and i think the 'clean up' began once we got rid of TO, Pacman and Tank. Jerry is changing the image of the team, and I guess that was a 'necessity'. Oh well, there's a few talented kids in this team and I'm looking forward to next year (if we have a league obviously) - in fact, far more than I was to this year which I was worried about from early on ...

He's done a bang up job so far. Taken them from a hated teams that wins to a pitied team that doesn't. Max Clifford would be proud... 😉

The New England Patriots will play Pittsburgh in the AFC Championship game. The winner will win the Super Bowl two weeks later, probably against Atlanta, the way they're playing (they'll likely have home-field throughout, don't forget - HUGE advantage that).

Heart says Boston, head says Steelers.

Fuck it. The Patriots will win the Super Bowl.
