Right, and as soon as I knew Woy was a likely replacement, I went with Benitez

Because some options are *more* shit than other options

And if you want to do 'let's make a cunt out of flip-flopping hypocrites' we all know who is going to lose *that* game
Yeah You. Youve fucking moaned all season that you want him gone while the same posters that you ridicule where saying 'Be careful what you wish for' and its 'Better the devil you know' He got sacked, you got your wish, you arent in charge of the club, the people who are hired Roy. So quit being a fucking cry baby and shut the fuck up.
should it?
Well i assumed it should. Obviously not.
Figured it would be out of place if it did.
Fair enough.

People are coming out of the woodwork to lay boots into Brendan! It's like that scene at the end of Ghost when the black things drag away the guy who was supposed to be Patrick Swayze's friend except instead of him it's Donald Sutherland who is Brendan.
HAHAHA I am not laying the boot into Brendan. I think Brendan is ace. Im trying to make him see he's gone bonkers is all. Im traying to SAVE him from the mental bellends. I reckon this is how rebel started, he was a sentient and rational human and one thing happened that set him over the edge. Im trying to talk Brendan down, im like Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon.

Yeah, Farky, great point. Cecil is about as well-positioned as you to make that call about Kenny Dalglish and his suitability as manager

Ie 'in no fucking way whatsoever'
The way you characterise this decision making process seems to be akin to how a 4 year old thinks the president has a big button on their desk.

It isn't so absurd that Roy Hodgson ended up at Liverpool, given the circumstances. It isn't simply because he's a yes man. It's disturbing that those circumstances exist where it isn't so absurd... that's something you'll get broad agreement on, but that doesn't mean that Rafa continuing on the trajectory he was on wouldn't have been worse, and it doesn't mean you have to slobber all over the forums like a rabid dog.

Years of tantric masturbation finally paying off Robin?
Errrm... when did I let on about *that*?

Not you Oncy. You can hardly be described as coming out of the woodwork, you're always on here and often disagreeing with Brendan!

Most wouldn't know Kenny ahead of Woy Hodgson?

Jesus fucking Christ
Most may well know about Kenny, would his appointment give a 18-25 foreign player a feel good factor?
I doubt it, I doubt many know how much he really means to the club and feel like you and many other LFC fans feel about it.

It's a reality of the modern footballer, they play for big clubs and big money how many of them research the history of the club and the players of old?

Liverpool have also eyed Rafael van der Vaart for a similar role and Real Madrid are prepared to listen to offers, but won't want to let the Holland international go cheap.

Wahaayyy ... Summer just isn't summer until we have the annual VdV discussion.

*put on shades*

Apparently Liverpool have agreed a 5 Million fee for Insua from Fiorentina. Is this the start of a new relationship between Brendan and "Woy". Just Lucas to go and we may see a full reversal.

Who's going to play left back now? What potential targets are out there?

ideally taiwo or figeroa, failing that, Agger with another cb coming in. Or giving kelly a chance or robbie threlfall

He probably contracted something from interacting with you. Zlatan's Brain Fever.
Nah you see, i hated benitez and am glad we got rid of him and signed roy 🙂 so it couldnt be from me. Maybe it was from you, when you 2 shared a night together or something 😉

See, I think Brendan is just somewhat blinded by justifiable rage. Sometimes I wonder, though, if he instead was a complete fucking retard, what exactly that'd look like...

Everyone* knows why Woy got the job over Kenny.

One of them is a Liverpool fan, a Liverpool legend, who wants 100% what is best for the club, and whatever he said (good or bad) we'd listen to.

The other one is Woy Hodgson.
I'm glad you have such a nuanced view on the issue.

5M is a better fee for Insua especially considering the fact that we paid around 2M for him and put a lot of effort into his development.

If this move goes through, it'll leave us with no first team LBs though. Brilliant.

5 million for Insua is about right. We'll get Taiwo who is my first choice or Figueroa! That will do nicely. Gives us proper defensive options.

Let's just hope that Roy actually gets the money to re-invest.
