It was only ever going to be two, with the international break.
Yeah, a load of shite.

This while Man U are still looking for a midfielder.Gravy, Endo, Macca and Szobo in one transfer window.
Schmadtke deserves a statue.
You might say - he deserves a Schtadtue.Gravy, Endo, Macca and Szobo in one transfer window.

You stay positive.I hope the lads don't think this is the Newcastle they'll play in the final. Joelinton and Isak are two very important players for them and maybe Botman starts as well.
Agreed, let's hope we're in this form still. Big pitch, big occassion, it could benefit both teams and Isak would have made a huge difference yesterday.I hope the lads don't think this is the Newcastle they'll play in the final. Keywords being "big occasion". This is the fourth trip to Wembley in 4 years for some of our players. 5th if you count the Community shield.Agreed, let's hope we're in this form still. Big pitch, big occassion, it could benefit both teams and Isak would have made a huge difference yesterday.
Nah. There's no pressure playing away to City in a ground we haven't won in in a decade? Then playing a team who beat us up a bit at times at theirs and who we face In a cup final. There's always pressure and they coped well. As I said, I thought we were largely excellent against Villa, and when we went behind we responded. No concerns with mentality. So, we've had 2 of our more complete performances of the season, and it's when the pressure was off.
Is it worth worrying about the mentality of some players on that front? As soon as the pressure increases, Some don't cope?
I was originally happy to chalk it up to fatigue and exhaustion for the villa and wolves performances...but it clearly wasn't that

There's pressure, but less pressure than if arsenal were 5 behind us.Nah. There's no pressure playing away to City in a ground we haven't won in in a decade? Perhaps momentarily, but I really don't buy it for most of the players once they're in the cut and thrust of a game. I think they're so absorbed with their personal battles, executing moves they've drilled in training and so on to really allow any musing on points differentials and so on. You go to City and its full on, and that's true of a lot of PL games- especially away at Ev in the last game at Woodison and also away at Villa, which is one of the toughest places to go in the league. I saw both of those as good points and saw plenty of grit in those games. In both we went behind and we didn't falter. In both we could have had all 3. This team is not mentally weak.I know what he means... a few of the pundits used the term "free hit" with respect to the City game and though it's wasn't quite that, I'm pretty sure that seeing Arsenal falter has helped from a psychological perspective.
The best thing about last night was being at the ground just knowing we were going to win. There was never a point in the game where you thought they might get back into this or they're causing us any sort of problem. It was three points from the first minute. So yeah, maybe the pressure was off, but that's down to the players. They've won the points and now we're strolling
I was listening on the radio as I was driving to pick my son up at the airport and the noise in Anfield gave me the heads up before the correspondent at Forest piped in to give the final score from the city ground. "we're going to win the league..." started kicking off.The atmosphere sounded great last night. Got a few videos from a mate that was there and he said it was electric.
You could hear when the Arsenal result was confirmed in the ground during the 2nd half.
Even when Wilson was one v one twice? The best thing about last night was being at the ground just knowing we were going to win.
