Couldn't agree more, he even chose a meeting point and time that suited my trip to the airport, and the seats were superb; I feel even worse now that I've no intention of returning his season tickets and currently have them up on eBay.

Have to say the "kid" really enjoyed himself immensely. I knew he supported Liverpool but had no idea he was such a fanatic and it was great being with him for his first Anfield trip.
My wife asked me to take him out with "the lads" when we got back to Manchester and get him shitfaced for his birthday; it's strange being congratulated by my wife the next day because he was up half the night being sick - I think he'll always remember his 21st birthday 🙂
