Ryan, there is a late availability sale wednesday morning on the official site.
Has your friend any access to membership cards? If so he could purchase them online Wednesday? I could try borrow some via the Irish site im on but it might be tricky to have the cards posted to me then forwarded onto your mate in time??

The count kindly provided his memberships card to use but our efforts were in vain. The sale sold out as I was in the queue to get in to purchase tickets. I've thrown my name into the hat for two spares on another site. If they pop up i'll take them for you and get them to your mate in Dublin.
I'm also on the look out for 2 tickets, does anyone know if this site is reliable......................

Tickets are becoming hard to get at this stage it seems.
I was reading a ticket purchase/exchange thread on another forum (Boards.ie) and a lot of the posters were complaining about how difficult it has become to get tickets through the offal with them now selling out in minutes.
I suppose it is understandable seeing that everyone wants to be able to say that they went to see us play in the season that we won back the title.

Are you on toutless? A lad looks to have shafted a good few people. Scumbag. Took payment for tickets and is now not returning emails or private messages. Moderators are trying to help track him down.
No mate. Never heard of it before now. I was just looking on the Boards.ie thread out of curiosity in light of missing out on the Villa tickets.
I guess once there are people willing to hand over money to someone they never met in exchange for tickets there are always going to be a few trying to rip them off
If you don't know the source of the tickets then why hand money over before actually seeing sight of the tickets. My twitter feed is littered with these stories across many clubs.

Toutless is an excellent site to get concert tickets at face value. Moderators tell posters not to send money blind etc and usually people meet face to face to swap tickets for cash. I've used it a few times. No problems.
It also has a sporting event forum and subsequently a Liverpool ticket forum. I know some of the lads in there offering their cards to use and they are genuine obviously. They are farming out their cards to keep their credits up and are helping out fans at the same time. Win Win.
Some cunts are always going to prey on this. I remember the guy when he joined. He came on and said he had membership cards available for games x, y, z. He offered to farm them out and offered to forward on the cards closer to the games in question but not a peep out of him since. Some have contacted paypal to at least suspend his account.
The people who handed over the money feel stupid now but they were desperate for tickets and took the chance, after all, other members were swapping cards without problems.
Cheers ILD, I'll give it a miss. My wife's cousin is coming to England (tomorrow morning) for the first time, and on his 21st birthday, AND he's a huge LFC fan so I thought it would be great to take him. But he'll still get a big kick outta watching the game in a pub full of LFC fans and I'll get him so drunk he'll think he's at Anfield. I'll do the stadium tour with him before he goes back.
Can I reserve the pair please? How much and where do you want to meet? I'm picking my wife's cousin up from the Liverpool airport at about 3pm so can be near the ground by about 3:45
In manchester and can't get to Liverpool before 3ish because I've got lots on this morning. I don't wanna put you out Woland so if it's not convenient for you just sell 'em to someone else and I'll watch it in the pub with him and a few mates.
Really appreciate it woland, I'll PM you my number and I'll try and get to Liverpool before going to the airport so hopefully about 215 - 2:30 but worst case scenario 3:30.
