MOURINHO FIRED

The Pochetino route is a high risk/high reward route for us. Worst case he turns Utd round and has them challenging again, but the upside is the wet dream that his departure causes Spurs to crash & burn and then he goes on to spectacularly fail at Utd.This could take two "rivals" out in one stroke, especially as the Spurs decline will start almost immediately as it becomes obvious he is off in the summer.

Like the long awaited sequel to the epic adventure "you don't have to win things to be a winner"
And players could also move on next Summer as the Spurs' dream dies and the vultures circle (United, Chelsea, Real, Barca). Erikson would be the first to go since he has yet to sign a new contract and he won't be doing so with the possibility of Poch leaving anyway.

Yes, actually, even Northern Ireland fancy our chances against your gang. As you were. There's a curly headed Norwegian anchor on it's way to Utd.

We look much better now to be honest, with a Swedish head coach. We may actually make the European Championship this time. Maybe. Possibly. Hopefully.

The funny thing with Solskjaer is that he used to be a member of the Norwegian Liverpool supporters club. They confirmed it after he signed for Man Utd all those years ago.

What an impression the man makes. This from The Times:

The United manager was not a popular man at Carrington. In text exchanges, some players often used four-letter words to describe him. When asked to describe Mourinho in a few words, one representative of a player said he was “a bit of a twat”.

It's true that Maureen appears to have a singular talent for seeding disenchantment in the dressing room. But you also wonder if these brats in the Utd squad are able to rediscover a culture of respect and enthusiasm, or if their sneering disrespect has become embedded in the club. Let's hope so!

Blanc would be an obvious choice, but I guess a manager of his stature would not agree to be a caretaker only, without a chance to "audition" for a permanent appointment.

We look better as the nations league out together teams at same level.... so just lower the level far enough and you can be happy and praise even overtime winners home to young boys.

Interesting that very few United fans are blaming Mourinho entirely. Obviously the Glazers and their henchman are taking flak, but there seems to be a lot of antipathy aimed towards that preening ‘virus’ Pogba, and his malign influence on the likes of Blingard, Martial and Rashford.

The dressing room needs a purge. Sounds like a fucking horrible place.

Napalm Carrington!

Get rid of the Jews and the blackies? Oh I see ya

This Solskjaer move is the equivalent of us sacking Klopp and bringing in Steve Nicol on loan as interim manager with Sammy Lee as his assistant.

It’s brilliant

Yes. It seems like Slur has gone soft and brought in one of his faves.
I don't think Solskjær is ready for this at all. He has help though from Phelan and the others, so maybe they can stabilise things and get more out of the group.

I’m not sure he’s making the decisions

I believe it is all down to Woodward ultimately being judged by net profit and this was the cheapest he could fine... must be that.

Woody seems to be putting all his eggs in the Pochettino basket. If that fails, he will probably turn to good old Carlo

He’s in a tight spot really. He will be expected to get this next appointment right, but could he ever take a risk like Spurs did when they appointed Poch in the first place?

And if not, that leaves him with a pretty short list of possible appointments, and after Poch, none of them are really guarantees of success either, despite what they’ve won before or what their reputation is.

Hammers home how fortunate we were with Klopp, who was available, high-profile, successful and a prefect fit that had almost universal approval. Even before Rodgers was sacked, Klopp was widely assumed to be our next manager and everyone wanted him.

There’s nobody like that around for United
