The discussion over in the Coutinho thread got me thinking.

Who has improved the most in the league so far this year and could we settle on a SCM top 10?

Some potential candidates to get the thread going:

Ramsay, Nasri, Coleman, Barkley, Januzaj, Rooney, Sterling, Henderson, Hazard, Oscar

Henderson, Skrtel and Suarez are the main three Liverpool players, and Sterling is starting to show signs of improvement, too.

Outside LFC... Ramsay and Lukaku are the obvious ones. Remy deserves a mention. Hazard, Barkley. Yeah, all the ones said already. You're welcome.

Lukaku was already terrifically good last season given he was playing for West Brom, and was largely responsible for propelling them to the upper echelons of the league for much of the campaign. Remy is a great shout, and looks to have the quality to play for one of the big teams. Ramsey is the outstanding candidate. Lallana has come from nowhere.

And barkley had played before this season. This season he's cemented his place rather than being a squad option

Barkley has showed what an amazing talent he is this season, but he's been to up and down performance wise to be top of that list imho. Same with Januchayjjiyii

I know Moyes gave him a few run outs, he got badly injured though didn't he? and then went out on loan, surely you base a players improvement on a decent sample size of him playing at a high level (PL), not a few sporadic appearences as a kid a couple years ago.

Some of the logic here is odd, how about Brad Smith, he had never played in the PL before so him coming in playing (badly) is an improvement? is that how it works?

Barkley had made a decent impression when he played. His loan spell was unsuccessful because warnock (?) is a talentless cunt.

He's making a better impression now.

Smith has played 20 minutes of senior competitive football, so it's slightly unfair to start judging his solitary appearance for us.

Januzaj I agree shouldn't be getting mentioned. I've no qualms quite barkley as he's been playing (albeit not consistently) for 2 years previous to this one

When looking at Barkley im thinking he looks a very good player, not once this season have i had thoughts about how much he has improved, with the likes of Henderson, Coleman and Ramsay i can't help but think how much they have improved as players.

Yeah the Smith thing is a load of bollocks, just trying to work out some of the logic in here.
