If we'd acted earlier there's every chance it wouldn't have gotten to a bidding war. He'll end up moving for 80m and some of our fans will no doubt be relieved we didnt spend that money; when realistically we could have got him cheaper in the summer

If we're going to go all in on a player, I'd much rather it be Bellingham who has shown it all over 2 seasons versus Caicedo who has barely had a cup of coffee at the top level of the sport.

Also, Bellingham looks different level in terms of ability on the ball. Of course, if he signs for us, I am still afraid whether he will be able to play at the same level in the premier league. Caicedo is an excellent player but looks rather limited on the ball for an 80-million player. Unless he is the next Kante, I would stay away at that price.
