Milner isn't miles better, he's better suited to this league and more versatile.
Glad you've made your assessment based on a few games as per, we should start calling you Wikifuckingpedia.
He's a spinless, injury-prone shithouse and we should get rid asap and try and buy Scott Parker, or someone similar, ie can run, tackle, pass and shoot and gets stuck in. I wish we'd bought him years ago.
Scott Parker? He's turning 30 this year.
He's also cheap and available.
He would be more of a stop-gap solution if Mascherano left than a replacement for Aquilani, wouldn't he?
But if Mascherano really leaves he'd not be the silliest solution. I think we should aim higher though.
Stop-gap, sure, but we're not blessed with money.
Who do you suggest?
I suggest that we keep Aquilani next season at least.
I'd like to see what he can do when
given a whole pre-season training and at full fitness.
If Mascherano really left then I doubt we'd be able to find someone who'd improve us. He's one of the best in his position in the world.

He'd get injured in pre Season training.
