Midfielders other than Bellingham

Lavia has been completely anonymous in every game I've watched. I've had to scan the screen to find him. Which is not a good look when you are a DM and your team is almost always on the back foot.

That said, lots of experts say there is a true gem there waiting you surface and I guess they know better.

Lavia's stats are also mediocre. He's very pleasing to the eye on the ball, but I don't think the defensive side of his game is very much at the moment.

He is just 19 though.

Have we even been linked with Lavia once? Where has all the talk of him stemmed from?

I thought our list of 12 we were soughting after was well known, I'd be surprised if we moved away from that.

I still find the level of neglect, incompetence or whatever it was that led us to this point maddening and mind boggling.

it’ll hopefully be like the Hodgson reign, a bad dream that almost seems like it never happened

Twitter. Apparently, Klopp has been caught tapping Ugarte up and Sporting are furious and are now refusing to deal with us at all. Lavia, Palhinha, and maybe Thuram are our alternatives for the No. 6 position, and it's not hard to see that Lavia will free the cheapest and hence the most attractive to us.

If true, why do we always get caught?

I imagine Alexis is for Thiago, so Curtis will be a squadie, as he should be.

---------------Gakpo----------------
-----Alexis-----------------------New 8
------------Fabinho----(Trent)

That new 8 is going to be key, as Hendo is so spent.
Also the next Fabs could be good to get in to blood.

Is anyone else half thinking why would Bellingham go to Real after the latest racist reports?

That was my first thought too, but then I wondered whether the kind of fella he is might actually want to go there and shove the nonsense back down their gullets.

You have to be quite a loser to change your mind about joining Real Madrid because fans from other teams are going to boo you.

I mean, having "monkey" chanted at you is a little bit different to booing

I don't think it will change his mind either however

I must be missing something, clearly.

I for 1 never knew racism only existed in Spain.

I forgot how well behaved English fans were ALL THE TIME, you'll never find them chanting about race, homophobe, or tragedy. Noooooo, Never. They'll never threaten and send death threats to players or even more senior members of a club, nooooooooooo when do we ever hear of such unfounded baseless nonsense.

I always catch a bit of trans euro express or whatever it’s named on talk sport every Sunday evening. They were talking about a journalist pointing out to Ancelotti in post match that the crowd weren’t chanting mono (monkey) but tonto (silly).

All sounds a bit messy over there, Vinicius should come to Liverpool and be loved. Fantastic player.

From 90.min;

Representatives from several teams were watching on at the Allianz Arena, with sources confirming to 90min that a number of Premier League sides in particular were monitoring the many star names on display ahead of the summer transfer window.
Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Manchester City, Manchester United and West Ham United were present in Munich.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle were keeping tabs on Leipzig duo Dani Olmo and Dominik Szoboszlai. The latter scored the clinching goal from the penalty spot.

Szoboszlai would be fucking great for us

The video does sound a lot like mono tbh

I can't help but shake the frustration at just how badly we've shegged the Bellingham situation, sincerely hope whatever plan B is actually works this summer. We cannot afford for another peak and trough season.

I take solace that I think when we were at our best , hendo and Gini were water carriers - I'd like to think we can replicate that model next season

The only people who are STILL wiping tears away from their face over the Bellingham saga are the ones who actually thought we had a chance of signing him.

Do you not know the first thing about this club? Or have you been living under a rock for the past 12 years?

If it wasn't for the fact it was the line of a racist apologist, it would be almost funny thinking a crowd would chant "silly" repeatedly at a player,
