Fucking hell, could the quality of your posts have gone any more downhill? Its like communciating with a retarded child...
Back to insults, expected from you. Bothered.
1) I stated that it was my understanding at the time that no deal was struck with Real
Err where did you state it was your understanding? It was posted like it was gospel truth as per.
2) I stated that this is apparently backed up in Carras book.
Only after someone dared to ask you why your take on events was more believable than the original poster you picked up for making things up. Oh and now its apparently!! So is it Carra's version or not? Or have you interpreted it in such a way because you "don't like Owen"?3) You look like a fucking imbecile for trying to take a pop at me, and inadvertently questionning our current club hero.
In your opinion it makes me look like an imbecile. I'm not sure how often I take the opinion of someone who just uses insults to "win" a debate. Taking a pop? So no one is able to question you about a comment you make? Plus, the way you told it as being Carra's opinion wasn't how I remembered it from his book, hence my, I'll go back and check comment
As you were, fuckwit. I'm dead inside now.
Insulted by you? I'm all torn up inside because you think I'm retard, a fucking imbecile and a fuckwit. No really I am. :🙂

Oh do you have experience of communicating with retarded children? Just a tip, abusing them verbally or on the internet is often not considered the best method in common practice nowadays...

Have you the ability to debate or will you just respond with more insults about the disabled?
Hmmm, where to start.... (I'm probably in a no-win situation here - mainly because im actually perpetuating you posting and every single one of your posts is so skin-crawlingly try hard).

The original poster stated :

"Granted when the offer was on the table from Liverpool for him to return the offer Liverpool gave him was not attractive enough... they wanted to take him on loan... or at a knock down price.... wages being less than what hes was currently getting at Madrid.. "

The implication being that our offer to sign Owen back was not acceptable to him, and he rejected us. My understanding was that this never actually transpired, and that was the point i made. When challenged by your (admittedly petty) jibe of

"I see. So the other posters bits are made up whereas your opinion on affairs should be taken as gospel? Right thanks, thread closed everyone, the truth is above us"...

My statement in response was that you could either believe my post (based on my understanding at the time that Owen was stalling all deals in the expectation/ hope that an acceptable offer from Liverpool to Madrid would materialise), or look up the passage in Carras book relating to this situation.

After your second (petty again, and this time somewhat thick) response of "Sorry my eyes must be failing me, where in the first post did you say it was Carraghers account" (NB I didnt, i simply used it as support to my argument) I should probably have got the hint that you were just being a bit of a cock.

In short, whining like a fucking child when someone finally reacts to your provocations, and then trying to take the high ground (read the sentence again.. "LIKE communicating with a retarded child" ie unable to absorb even the most simple and straight forward information) is a little pissy, even for you.
I'd never noticed you were that bothered by my posts. Oh well, at least they give someone, somewhere something to whine about.

I'm pretty certain, that you've clashed with someone like this before. Oh well at least you're consistent.

To be honest, Its futile to "debate" any further. You think you're right, I think I'm right, its clear nothing's going to change that, least of all a set of childish insults. I think you're over-reacting and I'm not impressed by your insults. Steer clear of me and I'll steer clear of you.

I think it's fair to say that Michael Owen will never play for Liverpool again (well, as long as Rafa is manager).
he's been offered a new deal.

The big Q is... wil he accept it?
Given that a £25,000 weekly cut in wages is involved, my bet is he won't.

Given that a £25,000 weekly cut in wages is involved, my bet is he won't.

He's taken pay-cuts before. Notably when he left Liverpool for Madrid.

If Liverpool matched the reduced wages on offer at Newcastle, he'd be here like a shot, regardless of his "status" as Number One striker at Newcastle.

All of that is true, but I still don't expect him to accept it from Newcastle.
Yeah, and while I do think there is a part of Owen that will think he "owes them", I also think that they as a club haven't fulfilled their promises to him. I wouldn't blame him at all for bailing, because as a club they're a fucking shambles.

How many managers has he played under?
How many crises?
How many owners?

Why the *fuck* is Michael Owen playing under JOE KINNEAR?

He is too good for Newcastle.

And he's three years younger than e.g. Drogba mind. Two years younger than Anelka. Etc.

A lot of good years left in him I'm positive.

The more I think of it the more I'm really wanting this to happen.

He's a year younger than Drogba and the same age as Anelka.

Owen is now 29 you know.

And he is played under 5 managers in 3 and a half seasons. And when you consider who those managers were (Souness, Roeder, Fat Sam, Keegan and Kinnear) that's really rather embarrassing!!

And I always had him down as a loving family man. He was quite nice when I met him, although he needs to develop a more manly voice.

dopey is the right word. A mate of mine used to live in Leicester when Heskey was playing there and he said that Heskey's car was often seen parked outside a dodgy hotel that rented out rooms by the hour. A fairly discreet place from what I can gather - apart from the fact that the car was a sponsored car from a local dealership and had Heskey's name down the side of it!!

Brendan, is this actually true? I know you're convinced by it. My understanding of it was that he had a reduced basic in return for a share of his image rights (common at Madrid) so actually got a fucking massive pay hike.

I would be amazed if Rafa signed Owen, he just does not like him, I think it's pretty apparent
He brought Fowler back Vlad. A move that was patently 'for the fans'.

True, but Owen still has a career ahead of him, whilst Fowler was done and was willing to do as told during the short time he was going to get back at Anfield.

If he is indeed available, I think we should go in for him and do our best to smooth over the issues of wages and squad role. That said, I agree with Vlad in that I find it hard to see Rafa going for him. Would be nice to be proven wrong though.

Owen would come here for even less than that. Rafa doesn't want him, if he comes its because the owners want him.

If there was a chance of owen being brought back here, I'd be surprised if Owen didn't bend over and take whatever came his way. Anyway, Owen's the type that'd back himself to play and score his way into the team regularly anyway.

That side, it's pretty futile anyway, because Owen won't be coming back here in January.

Owen would jump at the chance to come back, but, as you say, it isn't going to happen.
