Yes, he's having a terrible run - no one can deny that. Managers, like players, tend to have them (remember Wenger earlier this season?). However, there has been a positive shift this year (even ask Ross). If he doesn't walk, I'd give him another year. We're not as bad as some are making it out to be ... It's just the attitude of the microwave generation of footy fans.

I don't think critical fans is such a new phenomenon, even if the internet is. Didn't Paisley once call our fans a bunch of layabouts after they booed his team or a substitution or something?

Anyway, sadly football is very different today from in Shankley's time. The financial stakes are the main thing that limits the patience of owners, not the fans. Failure to make the top 4 after spending a lot of money has real implications for their investment.

Our fans have become much like Chelsea's fans with regards to what we expect ... There I said it.

Our owners haven't invested that much - so I don't know if they're as upset about $$$ or about the way the team is looking currently.

I know I said I was going to bed but I've got two others.

Sky / the media in general.
And Gerrard's captaincy.

Gerrard's captaincy. Fuck. Me.
The man who captained us to a champions league and dragged us from 3-0 down. Unbelievable.

When oh fucking when will some of you people question the manager?

I'd give him the year. But he has shown to be awful with tactics. It's worrying.

To be honest this is not a game I expected to win, away to a better team. It's the QPR and Wigan results that have really damaged KD/DC/SC.

A terrible run is a few games without a win. We've only won twice this year.

How many goals on average have we conceded since Carra has been back in the team it must be about 2 per game minimum...He has gone and should be behind Coates now.
Carroll is beyond a joke, how is it a striker doesn't want to be in the box - astonishing.
Shelvey - has done nowt, still can't see what the fuss is about.
Gerrard is well past his prime and on the same downward slope a Carra.
KK is seriously in danger of ruining his rep....his team selections are wrong, his subs are non existent and the players don't look arsed....

This is really bad, as bad as the dark days of Houllier...

"the microwave generation"

Tell me Wiz, in which fucking generation of patient, 'Liverpool way' of acceptability and reason was 6 defeats out of 7 and a struggle for a top 10 finish after 100 million pounds of investment in?

That must have been before my time anyway.

You're talking out your absolute arse.
