Christian Poulsen.
Probably a bit underrated on these boards but he's not a world beater either.
He can pass, he can tackle, he can head.
He's not as pacy as Masher and certainly not as terrier-like but I don't think he's any worse with the ball on his feet though. Playing in Spain and Italy for several years has improved that part of his game. And he's most certainly better in the air. And every bit as big a 'loon' at times as Masher can be.
When Martin Laursen came in from AC Milan after four or five wobly years in Italy I wasn't quite sure what to expect. When he left for Italy many was surprised as his technique wasn't his most obvious skill. However when he arrived in England it was quite clear that the years in Italy combined with his natural skills made him an instant success.
Perhaps Poulsen could do the same for us?
Anyways he certainly loves to kick Kaka (great little clip this)
