Ability, physical attributes, scores gaols and has a shot like a rocket.

He'll just get better and better if he "grows" up. Scoring 2 goals in a semi in the Euros will help.
Considering his upbringing, its not strange that he's a bit loopy.

He could acutally have been a Barca player. Was on trial there at the age of 15. Scored 8 goals in 3 games and they wanted to sign him. A greedy agent wanted millions in the deal and Barca said no.

Mario Balotelli’s mother Silvia reveals he “cried” after the Germany semi-final and she rang Cesare Prandelli to thank him for putting her son on the right path.

There were emotional scenes in Warsaw on Thursday when Balotelli rushed to the touchline and was hugged by his adoptive mother in the stands after scoring a brace.

“When he feels in difficulty, under attack or betrayed, Mario reacts by clamming up. He isolates himself from others and that’s what happened before the Ireland game,” Silvia told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

He quick'ish but not that pacey, not much of a dribbler and has a way to go in terms of bringing others into play.

I thought Balotelli put in a mature performance against Germany. Besides the two goals, he held up the ball well and drew fouls high up the pitch. There was one attack in the second half where he got the ball at the edge of the box and waited for an opening before lashing it just wide of the far post. It may not be flashy stuff but it shows that he's got a good footballing mind.

I've heard of him - just signed for Netanya. I'm not sure he can play for Israel though as he's been capped (& scored) for the Palestinian team (though he was born in Northern Israel).

We have a ton of talented (not EPL talent obviously) Arab kids who could become good parts of the national squad (Kayal already for Celtic, Totowacha from Haifa etc).

What's the big deal about scoring in the Euros?
Our Milan Baros was top scorer when his team reached the finals, I think.
It's whether a player consistently performs or not.
Balotelli has never consistently scored, he doesn't dribble past players Ronaldo style, he doesn't create goals, he doesn't work hard.
He's a skilful Heskey. I don't see anything in him to make me believe 'he has everything in his locker'.

You're probably correct but with the current glut of thick gobby pricks (that are over-paid and filled with their own sense of self-importance), the maverick behaviour / disregard of the norm is appealing at times. A bit like Gazza maybe.
