I will crack up in Neville is given a free game this day. He should have been exploited last season, get him booked early and watch his suffer out there. We were so worried that Valencia would rape Insua that we had our LW hold his hand for 90 mins meaning Neville was never on the back foot.

Konchesky should be capable to keep with Nani/Valencia. However, O'Shea could easily be moved back to RB.

No matter who plays RB for them, I'm not sure we've got a LW capable of 'making them suffer'. Unless he plays Cole there, possibly.

It's a strange position to be in............. I actually rate our best 11 or 12 players quite highly and with Cole, Torres, Gerrard, Carra, Pepe, Agger/Skrtel and Johnson all almost certain to start I see no reason why we can't get a result at OT APART FROM LUCAS! If Lucas starts we will lose, if Lucas doesn't play at all we will get at least a point.

I actually can't be bothered posting in the football forum anymore because nearly all our on-field problems are Lucas-related and I (like many others) end up making the same blindingly obvious points about his shitness over-and-over-and-over-and-over again. I will post in the football forum as and when we sell the useless shit or he becomes a very rarely used sub.

Perhaps making Neville suffer is a bit OTT but Pienar (sp?) gave him a torrid time in spells on Saturday. Last season we gave Neville a free pass at RB when he should be exploited.

Torres seems to be hanging out wide of late, perhaps he will target Neville.

Yes but his pace can create plenty of opportunity. Great acceleration, something good is going to come of it..

As someone posted earlier, I agree, I really do rate our best starting 11. If we put out that team this week, with Jov and Maxi or Babel on the wings with Meirles, Cole, Gerrard in the middle, we really could win this thing.

The big question is self belief and confidence. That where our manager comes in, and he has to believe in himself and us. None of this wandering as lonely as a cloud shite.
