Man UTD vs Liverpool Post Match

Suddenly that atrocious white away top looks a beauty now, just like how the grey one we wore on our last OT annihilation brings back fond memories of the game.

Anyone else noticed the minor injuries the team got? Gerrard with a nose bleed (?), look at Suarez left hand after he scored and, obviously, Aggers shiner.

Has anyone praised Johnson for his performance today?
I thought he did really well.
Very few mistakes, looked assured and helped us going forward.
He was excellant but I actually think the entire back 5 and Gerrard defensively were incredible and put their bodies on the line time and time again.

I am still buzzing.
Cant get over it.

And its not beating them 0-3. Its irrelevant who it was. We went away against a top 6 team needing a win and monstered it.
Its a fucking great result.
Im sporting a woody the size of a chair leg.
It really is the best weekend ever!

What was Stevie so 'unhappy' about after his first peno?

HE never celebrates penos that haven't decided a game yet these days. If that first peno was in the last min he's have gone nuts. He was concentrating on the task at hand. nobody wins a game after 35 mins.

And plus, I really got the feeling that it was all business for Gerrard. Score the penalty, back to the game.
Once the second went in though...

Moyes looks like he has bought a 37 million pound possession recycler with the way he uses Mata. He barely was noticeable in the game.

It was really shocking to me as well when late in the second half Van Persie popped up in the box and got on the end of a long pass. I honestly had completely forgotten he was on the pitch as he hadn't done a single thing for about 40 mins. game time.

As for LFC I thought the defense was immense, maybe their most complete performance of the season.

As for individual standouts I thought Allen, Henderson, Flanagan, Gerrard, and both center halves played lights out.

Onward and upward...c'mon you red men!!

When and where did I say Lucas should have started?

My mistake I would assume you would advocate having him in the team for at least the Utd away game as well as the big 3 home games we have left.

If you doesn't start those he really shouldn't be starting any of our remaining games which is what I alluded to last week when you questioned my ability to avoid canibalising myself with my limited braincells!

Agger tweeted: 'Great game, great atmosphere!! Hardcore keeper.. With friends like that, who needs enemies?'

The former Sunderland keeper jokingly replied: 'My sincere apologies also to the wife!'

I forgot to mention Tim Howard was on the commentary for the coverage here in the U.S.

He was objective and very complementary of Liverpool. Very surprising considering who he plays for and has played for.
