Luis Suarez has given TV interview on international duty with Uruguay in which he says he is "leaving" Liverpool #LFC

Suarez interview translation reads: "My reason for leaving is my family & my image, I don't feel comfortable here any more." #LFC

I'm coming round to the idea that the bite thing was a deliberate means to orchestrate a move. He's got form with this sort of thing - Oh well not arsed if we get a decent fee. If not I'm officially gutted.

We're going to get 20 million and that cunt Callejon... Might as well sell when value is high. What a waste of another brilliant striking talent - who's best years, unlike the last 3, will be for a fucking bunch of proper cunts.

I can't be arsed to go back in this thread - But where did you hear that LTW? Anyone else know about this?

Real Madrid are busy negotiating on a number of fronts as they seek to bolster the squad ahead of the new campaign. One name has figured highly in practically all of the ongoing transactions – José Callejón. The attacking midfielder, a product of Madrid’s youth team set-up, returned to the club two seasons ago but now seems to be closer to leaving the Bernabéu than staying.

Madrid have designated Callejón to be used as part payment in one of a series summer transfer bids. His name appears in the operation to land Málaga’s Isco and now, according to the Mirror, he has entered Madrid’s plans to take Luis Suárez off Liverpool’s hands.

In England, the Mirror reports that Real Madrid have already reached an agreement with the striker and although the Spanish club is not prepared to meet the player’s 47 million euro buy-out fee, they have proposed a four-year deal, paying Liverpool 23 million euros plus Callejón.

Suárez’s first club Nacional are keen to see the operation go through as they would in turn, receive between 2.5% and 3% of the final transfer fee as a bonus payment for holding the player’s formation rights.

Nacional director José Fuentes told Uruguayan daily Ovación this week, “I hope the transfer goes through – the revenue we would gain will be more than welcome as it would allow us to cover our costs for one of the two months when we are inactive”.

Paper today says there is a release clause and it's £40 mill. If Real make an official approach they'll still try and stiff us on that, but IMO we're in a stronger position than we were with Alonso, when - rightly or wrongly - there was a question about whether we wanted to keep him.

I thought the club did quite well with the transfer out fees for Alonso, Mascherano, Torres, Meireles etc etc

I'm sure there'll be a bidding war for Suarez, he's a player that doesn't come around too often and I'm sure there'll be more than one club interested.

A low release clause (if that's the case) will be attractive to a wider market.

In the end he's a player with ambitions elsewhere and the club will move on. Although he's one of the best players I've ever seen I'm oddly unworried by his potential departure.

23 million euros and the cunt Callejon! Real can fucking do one! Make the cunt play in the reserves.

Look on the bright side. At least we wont have to listen to that fucking "YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE" chant any more.
