I've never understood why a player gets a pay off, if he doesn't want to leave because it leaves him out of pocket, surely he can reject the deal? Hence if he does leave, it's his own choice?
Further, to a point Rosco made the other day and I probably misunderstood, when a plays sold, they're only entitled to a payoff equal to the difference in the players wages over the remainder of his current contract. So, considering Suarez will no doubt get a bigger deal at RM, surely he's entitled to nothing?
