How are people being delusional because they're pissed off or even surprised that he's going? Some people expected some loyalty because of the defense and faith he was given through two incidents that were largely his own doing, I don't see anything wrong with that, it's not delusional expecting people to show the same respect back to you, society might dictate otherwise, but people have a right to have expectations. You're being typically "oh you're all stupid if you didn't see this coming", we all knew it might happen one day, we just wanted a bit more loyalty and not for him to be using a copout excuse, which is frankly a fucking insult.

If Suarez is let go for the rumoured 20Mil, Ian Ayre has got to sack himself. And then, punch himself in the face.
People assume that we can just insert any release clause we want into his contract. He does actually have to agree to it. If there is a low release clause in there I'm guessing that it's more down to the fact that he had reservations about signing a new contract and wanted assurances that he wouldn't be priced out of a move if he wanted to leave.
