The u19s beat Porto on pens last night. Then it went off.

Wee Ben took one to the face.

You can take the boy out of Glasgow....

In all seriousness, this lad needs to be a permo fixture in out matchday squads. He's got something special about him, and he needs the step up sooner rather than later.

Apparently Koumas got sent off for the scuffle.

Kicked off because our lads were celebrating too much.

Reminds me of the time years ago when a homegrown terrorist tried to crash a car containing explosives into the main building at Glasgow Airport and was apprehended by passers-by before the fuzz got to him. One of them was interviewed later and asked what he'd say to any other prospective attackers. His reply was: "This is Glesga - we'll just set aboot ye". I love having that back in our team with Robbo and really hope this lad makes it.

It's been a good week for the 17-year-old (with the win over Porto) as he was in inspired form for the U21s in their emphatic 7-1 win over Leicester City where he scored twice and played a part in the remaining five goals.

"We work closely with the first team and our job is to develop the players, put them in an environment where they can flourish and hopefully then, with the support we have from Pep and Vitor in particular, we are able to move boys across,” Lewtas said ahead of yesterday's clash.

"Ben has done ever so well. It’s OK getting an opportunity (with the 1st team) and earning it but I think Ben has grabbed it and done ever so well.

Like Jack Robinson and Ben woodburn

Well like I say let's hope not but he's clearly not short on ability or confidence, a lot of whether young kids make it is a mental thing....it's really all on Ben (Doak) like it was on the other Ben, he just didn't make the most of the opportunity when it was presented.

Suso actually made it to become a good player. 5 seasons at AC Milan, now at Sevilla.
