Honestly, I dont think we should be in for him.
I get that he's strong, physical, powerful and plays with some of that no-nonsense attitude you'd like to see in your players.
However, he's making too many mistakes for my liking, and his passing game really can be annoying. I rate him much in the same category as Skrtel really. Got some great attributes but just not turned into a top class defender.
From my view we should instead hijack Andreas Christensen from Chelsea - he won't go back there unless he will be a part of their plans from day one and maybe that could be our opening. Him and Matip would make a potential World Class pairing.
Cool - I got a great text today off a good ITK mate. Apparently we have deffo made tentative steps for Fabregas. Fuck knows whether it will get done though. 22mill is the opening offer. The thing is (so I'm told) he's a big admirer of Klopp's (give him an arm around the shoulder approach) and I think it's pretty well known he's a big Gerrard fan. He'll be a certain starter - I'm in and hope it happens. My buddy has been known to be partial to the kiff so it could be bollocks. He was bang on about Klopp signing on though and Mane. 22 mil for a 30 year old? While that may be steep in terms of our spending record, I hope it's an indication that the upper hierarchy realize that we need experienced buys. Weird though as I had always assumed Fabregas was a bit of a bottler and is only normally good for half a season the past few years.

I'd rather the option of Fabragas over Lucas & Stewart every day of the fucking week. In fact, I'd prefer him over Wijnaldum, Can & Henderson (one of the worst midfields we've had in 25 years).

That's including player sales and as we are targeting getting £70-80m, it is not an exactly overwhelming figure.
I guess seeing that Klopp has a neutral net spend so far, it is just a continuation of the more usual £25m annual net spend
If that were to happen, I'm glad we have Klopp because every other top tier manager would walk out the door.
Since Fabregas doesn't play in their positions you'll be happy to hear then that we can still start Lucas.
I hope that's NET, otherwise it's not a high figure considering we need at least 6-7 senior players and at least 4 starters.
