Honesty if we make top 4 and have a chance to sell coutinho for 50+ I would actually take it.

Whilst the fact he can be inconsistent drives me mental, he is arguably our best player, & every time we seem to sell our best player for big money I don't see us strengthening as a side. Quite the reverse in fact.
Keep your best players, win things. Sell your best players, don't win things. That seems to be the way football works to me.
Agreed. The crunch point may come if he decides at some stage that he wants to go, and I'm not generally a fan of keeping wantaways, but I wouldn't make it easy for him (or for whoever was trying to poach him) even then.

It boils down to price, if it's true he will be available for £30m we should be all over it, but I think the fee they would want would be closer or above £50m.
