He's a very important player, & his composure & reading of the game is evidence of how little we have of those very important qualities in the squad.Wonderman is wonderous.
How many managers making him integral will it take for people to accept hes an important player.
The pan has been flashing for 5 games now.
I'm by no means a fan but credit where its due he's playing really well at the moment.

However, at his age, I think we have to get a better & more consistent player who can play week in week out without suffering.
Until January at the very earliest that's not gonna happen though, & he's doing a damn fine job.
Five games in which we've won one.
Well done Lucas. We're at your level now
He has been in good for of late but we've seen this before. He needs to continue in this vein and then actually build on it. The moment yesterday where he stepped up for an interception well in their half and had a Crack on goal - I want to see more of that. It's fine to say he's done a good job of being tidy in front of the defense - and we need him to do that - but we need a certain degree of dynamism from that position as well.

I think we'll more shooting from Lucas under Klopp.

Sorry 6 games as he was outstanding against Villa too in a game we won.
In any case not scoring enough as a team is hardly something you can blame our DM for.
We have looked more solid, more in control and he has had a lot to do with it.
Like I said earlier, I'm not his biggest fan at all, but he's been playing very well lately and if the other 10 players had matched his level it would 6/6 wins.
Not acknowledging how good he's been in the last half a dozen games just highlights some people will never change their opinion.
Yeah, it's clearly Lucas's fault that Origi and Coutinho can't hit a barn door at the moment. How about giving him some credit for us conceding only 1 goal in 315 minutes he was on the pitch in Klopp's first 4 games?
When Lucas is a regular first team player in our team, we finish about 7th
When Gerrard is a first team regular league title don't get won. Same logic. When Lucas is a regular first team player in our team, we finish about 7th

Sure it is, let's look at some of the players Gerrard has played with.No it isn't.
I'm just messing around. There are none so blind as those who will not see.
If you let this continue to get under your skin it's going to be your undoing.
Sure it is, let's look at some of the players Gerrard has played with.
Hamann - won the league in Germany, played with Gerrard. No league title.
Berger - Won the Bundesliga with Dortmund, same
Mcallister - Leeds, same.
Babbel, Ziege, Glenjo, Sturridge......
Can't prove anything without a control method.
So who won the league after leaving Gerrard?
Owen, Suarez, Alonso, Mascherano....

Lucas won the league in Brazil. Twice.Gerrard would have won the league if he'd joined Chelsea or Madrid, or any other of the top clubs who wanted to buy him.
But he stayed because he loved Liverpool. The others left because they wanted to win trophies and a massive club wanted to buy them.
Lucas stays because only Stoke and some Turkish club have ever been interested in buying him, because he's not very good.
He will end his career without a title because he's never played for a team good enough to win one, largely because his presence means the team isn't good enough to win one, and no team good enough to win one will ever buy him.
