He may or may not leave this Summer but it wouldn't surprise me if Klopp signed him on for another season as he's proving it's worth keeping him around for just situations such as the injury predicament we are in now.
I highly doubt the club would give him anything lengthy which I think someone at his age would like to see himself out of the game, a 2 year contract or so. Higher chance the club might offer him something which needs to assure that he can play more often than being on sick leave. As it is, Keita and our centre halves already taking a lot of the club's doctors time.

I quite like Lallana. Never going to be a star player or first team regular but he works his ass off game after game and possesses lovely technical skills (which a lot of our players do and is one of the facets that separates us from the rest of the PL). Clearly Klopp does too and Lallana obviously appreciated and enjoyed that gesture.

Yesterday, it was Lallana from the period where he had his best ever period at Liverpool, the period that lasted 3 to4 months in Klopps first season.

The media reaction is absolutely brutal for Everton fans. Everyone going to town with the teenage narrative.

I had a good read of their forum last night and most regard it as their most embarrassing performance ever.

Tee hee hee.

Every time I see Pickford I just think, if you were a striker nearby and shouted 'Boo' at him, he'd look up and miss the ball. He never looks like he's entirely focussed. There's no way he should be England's goalkeeper.

Agreed - he's the classic bottom of the table keeper. Makes lots of saves when under the cosh but in a tight game with few chances he has lapses and makes clangers.

England should be taking Dean Henderson to the Euros at #1, it is frustrating that he is on United's books as he'll have a positive impact on that back line when DDG gets sold back to Spain.

Don't worry, once he got into that bus with Ole behind the wheel, his standard will drop.

If you were Lallana what would you prefer, a one year contract at a club you love, with a manager and team mates you love (and return the compliment) and although only a few starts a season you end up with silverware and medals .... or a 2 year contract at a mid table club with no chance of winning anything, lower salary, new manager and team mates to prove yourself to, and where you have to run your bollocks off just to avoid a heavy defeat ?

Hopefully there are no buyers for DDG (or there is a brief upturn in form), and Henderson decides to join someone else.

Lallana is on reputed £120k per week. Given his injury record, we would be mad to offer the same terms. So it would probably be a lower salary here and he is on a free anyway

Which would still be a hulluva lot more than a mid table club would pay him. No brainer for him if LFC offer a new 1 year contract.

Its a lot for a club like us to pay for a fringe players. This is fabinho money. There is lots of money floating around in the PL; Max Meyer is on 200k a week when he signed for CP on a free.

Ah, 2020! What wonders and glory await us, I wonder?

Well, beating The Bitters with our Ressies is a good fucking start! Heeeeeeeeeeere's the RAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNGS!!!!!

Derbies make it hard to be objective as all that matters really is "don't lose", and when we win, with such a weakened side against a virtually full strength, Ancelotti-led Everton - who were probably favourites (maybe) - it's even harder to be measured and sensible, as evidenced by some of the match reports I have read; we weren't great at all in the first half (and neither were Everton) but they still contrived to create three wonderful chances.

We looked a bit nervous, and made it far too easy for Everton with some slack passing and dunderheaded positioning, and if the Bitters had been more ruthless we'd have conceded at least two of those point-blank efforts. The second half was a different kettle of fishies, as the Bitters dropped from "mediocre" to "fucking hilariously shit" and we took total control. We didn't actually create that much, but the winner, a wonder-strike from Jones, was fully deserved.

Aha.

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Adriiiiiiaaaaaan (7) Clean sheet, and made a few decent stops, although the three chances Everton had were far too close to him and any decent keeper would have saved them. One typical Flappy Moment from a corner, but otherwise solid. Good lad.

Williams (7) Neco may have a dumb name, but he looks a player. What I loved most was his aggression and desire to be always involved, all the time. Worked tirelessly, put in a few delightful balls, and never looked too troubled defensively. Technique looks solid too.

Gomez (7) Our most experienced defender. At 22. Haha. Had a good game, and after a few tussles with DCL, came out on top and exuded calmness and control in the second half.

Phillips (6) Wobbly start, he fucked up one situation under a high ball and made a few nervy, poor passing decisions, but he seemed to come into the game after he sent Richarlison flying and improved as the game progressed. Will be happy with his efforts.

Milner (n/a), sub Larouci (7) Worrying early injury gave Larouci an opportunity and he was full of running, tactically disciplined and looked the part. Sound.

Chirivella (7) He seemed to be on the ball every time I looked; always asking for it, calm and organised in possession and, in the great traditions of the metronomic defensive midfielder... kept things ticking over.

Lallana (7) Captain and most experienced player (once Milner went off anyway), Lallana took on that responsibility and gave a captain's display. Worked hard, used the ball well, showed some nice close control and brought calm, class and quality to the midfield. At one point he picked on poor old Sigurdsson, who is EVEN SLOWER than Lallana, skipped past him and ran away, leaving Gylfi looking like a melting snowman in a carpark.

Jones (7) A decent game, and showed in flashes that he's a genuine prospect, but he was kept on the back foot in the first half, and struggled to do much attacking. Different story after the break, and then scored a quite stunning goal from the edge of the box, arcing the ball beautifully over Jordanisaurus Rex and his tiny, spindly arms, and bouncing off the woodwork into the net. Ahhh, wonderful.

Elliot (6) Had a good game in fits and starts, making his usual cute and clever passing count, and he gave Digne a tough game, however he should have had more of a killer end product for all the talent he obviously has.

Minamino (5) Ran about a lot, and couldn't fault his effort, but he looked too lightweight at times, and struggled to make much of an impression. Had one chance with a header, which he put wide. Some encouraging signs - nice burst of pace to get forward - but not much else. Tired after an hour, and subbed soon after.

Origi (6) Big Div gave the Bitters' backline a tough workout, as he is very powerful, quick and likes to work the channels, and is also capable of some surprisingly neat footwork when he does get the ball under control. Couple of chances, one very good save from Pickford, and overall had a pretty good evening, without really getting into top gear.

Different personalities will give you different answer and opinion. If other club pays me more money, and with more starts, instead of docked or same pay and not playing, I would move. There are no wrong answer in your question, just saying....

Oh that's bollocks : " a club like ours" LoL. All we'd have to do is match what he'd get at a mid-table club. Bonuses etc. would also be much higher. Forget the 'on a free signing on bonus' how much do you seriously think a mid table club would pay for a 32 year old (in May)!

I didn't ask 'different personalities' I said if you are Lallana 😉

I'd recommend listening to this deluded Everton fan on 606 if you've got time to spare.

Fast forward to 1.02.14

Talking about all Liverpool fans being ooters and he's from Dagenham. Hahaha...
Robbie clearly started to wind him up some more during the call, deservedly I must say.

Apparently the blues are about to report record financial losses for last season and have had to reduce the amount they promised Ancelotti he could spend on players..
Posted about this on the match thread yesterday, there's a link for the daily mail with the story and it's also on the Telegraph behind a pay wall.
This may be why he looked so pissed off during the game yesterday.
If that last bit's true he might be within his rights to walk away.
That would be absolutely Everton get a top manager and he walks through their ineptitude.
