Thats because the ref kept the cards in his pocket. I saw several cynical fouls that should have been carded. Example the foul on Jones by Schneiderlin.
Just watching the second half now, it did n't feel like a usual derby match

Larouci was good defensively.

Really? I thought He’s positioning was terrible and Walcott had him on toast first half before tiring.

Perhaps I’m being harsh but I don’t see him anywhere near the first team long term compared to the others

This victory gets better and better each time I see the goal.

I recall an few on here saying Richarlison was a player they would like in our squad. I'm not so sure. Lad played like a donkey today.

Richarlison's got talent, but I wouldn't want him and I don't believe Klopp would touch him - way too flaky for us IMO.

I was nervous at the start not having VVD in derence but Joey settled Philips in nicely

I agree, the Everton players just didn't look up for it, but I'm certain it has a lot to do with fitness. They were a different team in the first half and could have been up by 2 or 3 if it wasn't for Adrian.
This is a game you play Baines, Keane and Davis. But why am I complaining? Thanks Carlo!

Who said anything about being good enough. He's clearly not up to par but he did well today considering.
Three players impressed me today from the kids, Jones, Elliott and Neco.

Keeps the winning run going and another clean sheet for the this c team. Second half Performance was like the first team. Killed the game

He also got bullied by Philips which I fucking loved. Was surprised to see such fight and snide from Philips, great sign.

I wouldn't judge Richarlison based on this game. He's a good player, and with better players around him he's a fucking menace.

Can we loan any of their kids for the rest of the season?

Fucking shite this. Absolutely toothless.

They wouldn't even consider coming to us.[/article]

Not sure I can intentionally subject her to a lifetime of this absolute shite.

Here's the interview...

I dunno, that doesn’t look so bad but maybe I expected worse.

Personally I love that attitude and he back peddles a little on the second question.

He’s obviously media trained but you can see him holding back a smile and just saying ‘I’m fucking boss’

I did always wonder if pros ask to be brought on like Sunday players do and based on that they do 😀

When half of the Liverpool team were born, I was already old enough to legally buy alcohol in the States...

Here's another thing I just realised, Gulfi Sigurdson turned us down to join Spurs!!!
Aaaaaahahahahahaha...

Re: Liverpool v Everton FA Cup
I thought that myself for a moment.

Then I realised that I’m already a bit of a twat, god knows what I’d be like if I also supported Liverpool.

One good thing you can say about being an Everton fan, they’ll teach you humility.

That was a mad game.

We started well enough and those 15-20 minutes aside where Everton had those 3 big chances, we were rarely troubled. The second half was total domination - so embarrassing for Everton.

Adrian again proved his worth as a backup keeper. His reputation has surely been massively enhanced following his move here.

Gomez was flawless and Phillips did okay after taking some time to settle.

Neco Williams is an interesting player. Looks really good on the ball and seems to have a wicked cross on him. Good to see that he cut out the hoofing after the first half.

Larouci was very good. He got caught out a few times, sure, but he more than made up for it with his energy and work rate. Like others, I don't really see a top player in him (though that is based on other performances rather than this) but credit where due.

Lallana killed it today. Never stopped running and covered for half the team. That kind of performance (in addition to relegating VDB and Kelleher to the reserves / bench) was the difference between Villa and today. Never been his biggest fan but always gives 10/10, which he should always get a lot of respect for.

Pedro for the most part showed calm and composure. As I've said before, not sure that he's done himself / career any favours sticking around here but hopefully he gets a good move and does well.

Jones is clearly a talented player and always looks very comfortable when he steps up into the senior team. In and out of the game a little but that goal was a goal of the season / competition contender. I can understand him wanting to play more because he's too good for the U23's but hopefully he realizes that he's got a little time on his side and Klopp's Liverpool is worth waiting for.

Elliot we all know about. Not the most eye catching performance we've seen from him actually but excited to see him develop over the next couple years.

Minamino worked hard and showed some good movement and touches. Not a bad debut and hopefully a lot more to come from him.

Origi, like Lallana, worked very hard. Didn't quite get his rewards today unfortunately.
