I nominate dmishra. Noticing patterns in how people use exclamation points is definitely the quirk of the year.

GARY Waddock has backed Jordon Ibe to go all the way to the top after the teenager finally secured a "life-changing" move to Liverpool.

The Wanderers wonderkid has long been linked with a move to the Premiership giants, and now it's official that he will be moving to Anfield.

Ibe had a trial period with the former Champions League winners in the summer and put pen to paper on a deal with the Reds on Tuesday.

And Waddock says the south London-born youngster can make it all the way if he keeps his feet on the ground.

The Blues boss said: "He'll be a success. If a club of Liverpool's size show an interest and want you, who knows what he can achieve? It's up to him, he's got the ability and the talent. It's up to him now how far he wants to go. I'm sure Liverpool will get the best out of him.

"He's done everything that's asked of him since he's been here.
Credit to Richard Dobson and the youth department for finding a player of that quality and nurturing him along. We've had to manage him, put him in and take him out, given him his debut and taken him out, he's got his goal and we've taken him out.

"Everything we've asked, he's been very mature in what he's done with his training and his manner.

"He had to make a massive decision to go up to Liverpool - you can't turn that opportunity down. It's not only a career changing decision, it's a life changing one as well, for him and his family.
It's a fantastic opportunity for him and one where we couldn't stand in his way. I'm absolutely delighted for him and his family."

The fee involved in the deal has been undisclosed but reports last week suggested Wanderers could earn us much as £500,000 from the transfer.

Asked if Ibe could return to Adams Park on loan, Waddock said: "We've not discussed that at all but you never know."

Apparently Kenny and Stevie took him/his family out for dinner and made a real fuss of him.

Director of Wycombe Wanderers Alan Parry claims numerous Premier League clubs were interested in youngster.

- Ibe pronounced as 'ebay'
- Nigerian background
- Released by Charlton at 12, picked up by Wycombe Wanderers
- Manager and Asst Manager (who worked with him at youth level) adapted training to suit him
- Unusual talent for his age, big lad, abt 5'10 (Dad's 6'3) and growing, plenty of pace, powerful, seems to have no fear, takes players on, dribbler, level headed
- Youth development people just let him have his head instead of doing the tactics/restricting him, paid off
- Mum in particular has been superb in way she has handled his career, wanted him to stay, trusted the club,
- Could have had the pick of any of the Premier League's top clubs
- Supported Liverpool when he was even younger
- Impressed with how he was treated when he 'went up there', meal with Dalglish and Gerrard, shown around Melwood
- Coaches at club feel that he'll probably end up playing as a second striker, playing off first striker

How true it is I don't know, but Sterling was trending on twitter yesterday. When I looked why apparently he has left his pregnant girlfriend and subsequently got another girl up the duff.

He's looking good at the moment for the under 18s. Very quick, direct and positive with a decent shot and cross. Very promising.

our reserves look amazing currently, I don't think it's too far fetched that several of them could be introduced to the first team within the next 2 years.

I do agree. They've good technique, generally good attitudes and are good athletes. It's exciting to see them progress.
