I don't actually think Atkinson is biased. What I do think is that he's an appallingly poor referee, the anti-Howard Webb - both heavily overrated, but Webb at the showoff end and Atkinson at the wimpy end of the spectrum.
The worst kinds of ref fall into two categories, they're either card happy, which means the game never hits any rhythm & is spoiled, or they're card averse, or "shit bags" as I prefer to call them. They also tend to be the refs who are more likely to finally take action because they're surrounded by players urging them to, because the crowd are baying for it, or cos a superstar player is in their ear asking them to all match.

I don't really know much about him, seems alright to me. Although he often says something fucking retarded, and then pretends he was being sarcastic.
Which is actually quite endearing.
The good thing with this is the break, we've done quite well coming back into big games before. I just think Mourinho has a squad now that can frustrate us AND pick us off, we handled Lukaku well before, but we could isolate him at Everton, with United they get tonnes of support around him, so he is more difficult to pick up and to mark out the game.
Our biggest hope, as ever, is that the front three or four play an absolute blinder and that there are no cards for us.
It'd be great to beat them and shut that cunt Mourinho up, we're going to have to be in scintillating form to do it.

Problem is that none of our front 3 is clinical enough in front of goal and our midfield is powderpuff who can get physically dominated. Wijnaldum aka Ghost is a pussy, Can seems very quick to get forward but very slow to track back and positionally he can be a bit shit and hendo doesn't have the legs anymore to get around the pitch and never has and never will be a good DM.

It was somewhat tongue in cheek, but the point is mostly right. He said redcafe have fans from all over the world, and can discuss us impartially, whereas on here you know what you're going to get. Like we all post from the same basement in Kenny.
This is just bizarre to me, considering he's as myopic as some of the doom and gloom merchants, just t'other end of the spectrum.

It worked for a fair few seasons at Dortmund right enough, and a spell like that would be the biggest step back towards the top that we've taken in a quarter of a century. The key is, as it was there, twofold: (a) fetching more players in who can do for us what Mane does and (b) improving the rest. They won the title in Klopp's third season and so far he hasn't even had two full seasons here FFS.
It's not just Mane though, it seems like if any of our better players are out it goes to shit
Thanks for the support lads. It was a rather bizarre banning (just a 'fuck off to RedCafe') with no prior warning but then Rosco is a bit of a playground bully, if someone stands up to him we all know how he will react and if you compound that by being a person that he dislikes that person will inevitably end up with a banning, whether temporary or permanent. I think that's 3 times he's banned me (no other mod has) and no doubt eventually he'll find a way to make it permanent, maybe even after this post, c'est la vie, but I've never been one to take a kicking lying down.
I joined 6CM soon after it was formed (also coming from KopTalk) and despite a quiet start in the background here I have been a staunch supporter (inc. a relatively substantial financial donation when requested) and regular thread starter ever since. However recently TBH it's become very cliquey, the lack of new blood (and the welcome given to them) is obvious and with the loss of so many regular posters the size and quality of the community is going into decline.
Banning people because you dislike them personally doesn't help promote either the image of the site or grow the numbers. It's very sad actually. I'm retired now and often come online with a coffee first thing in the morning and go through the various forums I'm on (news, photographic and football), it doesn't take long with 6CM any more as there are so few posts and new threads (let's not go into that too deeply since Rosco will obviously object to my PoV). Though TBF my photography is now taking up more and more of my time and since that pays some bills obviously football is taking a backseat - which my wife has noticed helps my demeanour when we lose or play poorly (or Mane gets injured) !

Show us all the post. Obviously you can't because that is simply untrue. I'm on there to support the other Liverpool lads against blatant lies and to discuss non-Liverpool or United related issues / teams (hence I never go on the 'United' forum, only the 'Football' forum).
It isn't even close to the truth Ken but you know how people like to twist things to suit their own agenda. I've tried to clarify that above for people with more open minds.

I have to admit that I often find myself thinking that any new poster is just another comeback made by some of the mad ones that eventually left..
I will try to do better and be less biased in the future, I promise.
