Williams and Wlliott look closer to breaking into this team than Minamino. Was really hoping the long lay off would have given him a chance to get up to speed. Hasnt happened.

Have to assume the likes of Williams, Jones, Elliot, Minamino will see alot more minutes once the title is in the bag.

Would be boss tbf
Yeah it just seems like the natural progression. Trent would play a sort of Milner role on the right of the mid trio. We get to see more of those delightful crosses. Frees him up a bit. Neco just behind him.

Fabs' was a bit further away though, no? Other than Mo's chip vs City, I don't remember us scoring from long range for a long time.

True but we haven’t had many outside the box goals compared to what my memory serves.

I know it's the wrong thread, but Salah and Robbo made a huge difference to us tonight.

That said:

1) Fabs
2) Mane
3) Salah

(Trent could probably go in there too)

It baffles me this argument, but now I think about it, there are less long-range goals than there used to be.

Maybe it's just coz Gerrard retired.
They change the ball every season and it does seem to me that some variations move more in flight so we get different goals every year.

We need @King Binny to tell us if we're scoring less from long range than before. For sure we're shooting from long range far less often. Oh, I just remembered another one – Fabinho again vs City this season!
