I genuinely don't think I've seen a player with such a brilliant touch that lallana has anywhere on the pitch in quite some time , the bt lot called it , if he started scoring he'd be a top top player .

That said , how long can a player maintain the intensity he showed in that first half ?

Got my calculator out for the 2nd half ...this is perhaps the worst I've ever seen a Pulis side play. I bet the hat dryer is on full blast in the baggies changing room.

Mane goal was quite brilliant....it didn't have any outstanding piece of skill, but it was just all round perfect football with quick thinking and ability to catch the opponents with their pants down even when they are setup with a clear instruction to defend with their lives.

Loved it.

Ooh, nice, a good trailer for one of the best series I've seen in years, Into The Badlands, on BT sport at half time. Glad to see it getting a UK airing at last. Brilliant series.

He's been doing that for 90 mins for 2 seasons now. Think he's our top player for distance per match no ?

Is there any other player anyone can name who is *genuinely* two footed ? It gives Lallana a massive edge because he can go in whatever direction he fancies.

Emre Can is playing well – instrumental in both goals and playing like he's got a point to prove. When we attack positionally he is often further forward than Coutinho and whenever the ball is on the wing, he runs into the box to fight for the cross. At other times he stays in the middle, which gives Hendo freedom to run upfield. West Brom keep too few players forward to justify keeping two CMs in the middle of the park all the time, so it's good to see our players recognize it and use it to our advantage.

What? Ever?

Currently in the Premiership, I can only think of Cazorla. Not that I think it's paricularly important

It'll be good practice for us breaking down teams that park the bus if the carry on playing the same way which they seem to be doing despite being 2 goals down.

It's boss. Helps if you like martial arts films cos there's loads of brilliantly choreographed moves. But it's original in many ways & is intriguing throughout, with plenty of action too. I love it.

No I meant currently. I think it is clearly important giving any player who has that ability far more options, witness Lallana comfortable no matter on the left, right or centre.

Yeah, as the BT lot said at HT, they're not pressing though, Utd did this but pressed us in possession which made all the difference.

Bet Sturridge never thought he'd see the day when he was a bench regular with Lucas.

Mind you, at least he's actually played and started some games. Why did Lucas stay again?
