He really is a horrible manager
His squad at the start of last year cost 715m to assemble & he's complaining about needing five new players. He is, every club he is at, he has a massive chip on his shoulder. He's spent £75m so far this summer. Last summer he sent £150m. He's a dickhead.
Yeah I thought he did really well. Interceptions, good passing g under pressure. Just calm and collected in midfield. His height and strength also helps us in the air. I really don't get how people are already complaining. I think it's about preference I guess.Good to see Fabinho playing well, even though he hasnt been bad and its pre season, some has already strangely got it in for him.
Good to see his qualities in a game vs Utd.

Probably. I wanted us to buy him so guess I'll look like an even bigger muppet if he fails.Judging him now is more about people rehashing old posts down the line to tell the forum how right they were.
Nah, from what I read here, articles about him being poor in Monaco and missing a certain partner , not being a DM originally etc. I get the feeling that people are getting ready to pounce despite the fact that it's his first season in England. He's going to need time to adapt.I don't think it's about preference. We've got a squad and there are a few options now, which is good. I think he's the only player who hasn't really got going, but Klopp said he thought he would take longer to adapt.
It's a bit churlish to say that people have it in for him. A couple of questions about his previous performances doesn't really equate to not rating him or some other particular bias.
He was great in France and he'll hopefully show that form here and be an ever present, that's good for us and the squad.
As for Shaqiri, you couldn't ask for a better debut, great assist and a truly World Class goal. Sturridge is looking in fine shape and form too.
Klopp previously said he was playing too deep. Was he further forward last night?Yeah I thought he did really well. Interceptions, good passing g under pressure. Just calm and collected in midfield. By people you mean Brendan. Not people.Nah, from what I read here, articles about him being poor in Monaco and missing a certain partner , not being a DM originally etc. I get the feeling that people are getting ready to pounce despite the fact that it's his first season in England. A little bit yeah, mainly because Man U were playing so deep. It just allowed him to move forward.Klopp previously said he was playing too deep. Was he further forward last night?
By people you mean Brendan. Not people.
Hes a 40m midfielder and should play 7 every game.
#BrendansLifeMattersBrendan's a person too, you know.
Yes I agree. Hes a person. Not people.Brendan's a person too, you know.

Its so when he is great they can say ‘where are all the haters now, I was here from day one’ blah blah blah. He's not "people" though, is he? It was suggested people are getting on his case already, I've seen one fairly critical post about him so far. It's hardly much worth worrying about or even mentioning.
That was a really encouraging game by Shaqiri, for more than just the obvious reason. Upon his signing, a lot of us were worried, and Rurik beautifully articulated this, that he would be a disruptive force to our attack, as he often breaks down attacks by trying to spectacular and selfish instead of playing a team mate in. I'd hoped that playing in a team which prides itself on it's team ethic would help him change, and the early indications are thats happened. Sure, he still scored an outrageous goal, but that was his right, he made that goal, he didn't try the same thing 10 times to get it right once, he didn't pass up a better option to a team mate to make it happen, he had one opportunity and he took it emphatically. What I also saw from him yesterday was a solid assist, some great overlapping runs and interplay, and an eagerness to help his team mates out, the thing that impressed me most about him yesterday was that four days into his LFC career, he already looked like a solid fit and in tune with this team. He's exactly what we all mean when we say we need depth in this squad, if we bring him on in the 60th minute i'd be excited to see what he could do, not sighing for Solanke, heck he might even be forcing Klopp to think about a 4231 with him out wide and Mane in the middle should he continue having games like last nights one. Really positive about his LFC career right now.
Obviously Brendan almost always takes the other path of saying every player is shit when we sign them safe in the knowledge he will either be proved right or he can say they have improved and needed to.Its so when he is great they can say ‘where are all the haters now, I was here from day one’ blah blah blah.
Internet forum 101 innit.

Are you sure though? Brendan could be the Borg. Assimilating all that bow before him.Obviously Brendan almost always takes the other path of saying every player is shit when we sign them safe in the knowledge he will either be proved right or he can say they have improved and needed to.
Ive never seen him say from day one a player is ace or hes excited to have him. So probably deserves the scepticism to be fair.
But still.

Yes he is...but he is also a winner who is still more than capable of going onto win a league or CL this coming season. I would not read into the ballshit pre post match talk from him. He has a very good record at winning stuff that is better than most ( including our manager). He really is a horrible manager
