Liverpool v United

This is the most competitive pre season friendly I remember watching.

Makes it all the more enjoyable that we've battered them.

Disappointed we didn’t get 5 on em...

We were good, very good, and nowhere near our first team either.

Glad I paid for it and avoided going to sleep all night to watch it.

We look so sharp, and every player had excellent control

The speed of some of the interplay was phenomenal

How much was united being shite, and how much was us being bossz I don't know....but it's encouraging

I'm just really pleased how competitive that was.

Great prep for the season & shows that the extra games are making a difference.

Sturridge, Shaqiri, & Camacho will be giving Klopp a very nice type of problem come the start of the season, I suspect we may see sturridge brought on for one of the front three earlier than usual in the first couple of matches.

Lil' Sheik's early match cancelled tomorrow.

Two bottles of Rioja downed.

One and a half bottles left to go.

Match recorded and not yet watched.

If the dog thinks he's getting walked tomorrow morning he's gonna be fucking disappointed.

In order to imp

It was very reminiscent of the redmen tv training clip I watched earlier... excellent interplay and one touch play... yeah man.. we looked really really good, which considering it was nowhere near our “first” team, is very encouraging.

Sounds like a very positive run out.

Great to have games that get the players out of first gear.

Loved reading about Milners agreession, sounds like he's right up for the fight for a place in the team

He said: "This is not even 30% of my squad. What about Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic and Antonio Valencia? This is our squad."
Mourinho revealed defender Eric Bailly was not due to play but stepped in because of Chris Smalling's withdrawal with an injury sustained in the warm-up.
The United manager said: "Eric just felt it wasn't fair to the other guys to throw another kid on the pitch.

I can't really understand the attraction of playing for this guy. Toxic character.

Hope he continues venting his frustration at the board as well. He's not going to last too much longer at this rate.

Good to see Fabinho playing well, even though he hasnt been bad and its pre season, some has already strangely got it in for him.
Good to see his qualities in a game vs Utd.

Except this wasn't ManU. It was 30% ManU according to reliable sources... where the rest came from the source said nothing.

Obviously taking the Mourinho bait here but we achieved that performance without a lot of players.

We were missing 5 probable starters: Bobby, Trent, Keita, Henderson, Lovren

Some regulars from previous seasons: Wijnaldum, Karius, Matip, Clyne, Ming

And probably more than I can't think of

I would like two more players. I don't think I'm going to have two," he said. "I think it's possible I'm going to have one.

"I gave my club a list of five names a few months ago. I wait to see if it's possible to have one of these players
Hahaha another sacking on the cards and ANOTHER new manager.
