I simply cannot accept that we play like this at Anfield against fucking Swansea.

Kenny needs to feel some heat for this bollocks. Henderson should never start on the right, and it's dubious as to whether Lucas should have started at all.
 
Well played Swansea .... Dalglishs gamble failed. We wasted too much on too little, you just can't keep dropping points at home and still hope to get into the top 4.

It's not so much the players we bought but the price and the tacit understanding that it will cost a hero his job and it will be his own fault. Nobody spends 100M to draw with Swansea at home.
 
By my estimation that is the second match all season that we didn't deserve all three points, though we could have nicked it at the end.
We weren't great but Swansea were.
Well done to them.

well ....we've changed the manger (twice in last few seasons ) , we've changed the owners , we've pretty much changed the team ....and still it's the same old , same old.

I know we were a disaster last year but that shouldn't hide from the fact we're pretty average this . All that money spent and no real improvement on the 2nd half of last season .
Some will say we're playing better football , there are signs etc etc ....well the fact is we're 6th , arsenal for all their troubles are equal on points with us now so i'd expect to be 7th soon . Is this acceptable ? Is this what we have to get use to ? Fuck this .

Lol, JK, I am more than willing o give Kenny more time but Murphy seems to have been right. And that Kenny couldn't buy the proper players. I hate to think of Hodgson sitting there rubbing his face laughing.
 
We've spent large amounts of money and we're worse than we were last season.

i think it's a myth that we've deserved to win all those other games.

sunderland we didn't deserve to win.
ditto spurs.
ditto today.
ditto arsenal.
ditto stoke.

rodwell's sending off probably won us the derby.

i really don't think we've had an abundance of bad luck. norwich we deserved a win, also against utd. we probably deserved a point at stoke.

the league table doesn't lie.

Neither am I. I'm just aware that for 100m you should rightly expect more than what we have to show, obviously just my opinion but, we lack all kinds of things we should have for that kind of investment. Kenny is who he is but I'm not going to sit here and roll out positive platitudes when it looks very much to me that we have massively overspent on the team we have and have not managed to produce the team required to finish top 4. That isn't knee jerk, I've been a beacon of positivity this season, I'm just not blind to the reality.... If you spend 100m you better have something to show for it.
 
It's all relative though isn't it? A gross £100M is what considering how much the other teams have spent? The players that we bought are clearly a gamble on their potential rather than the finished article.

they'd be good signings as long as we manage to sell suarez to barca for £40m in the same window, because y'see we wouldn't have spent that money, it was barca and we wanted a £9m profit on the deal so it's all good can't fucking wait, quack quack quack.

Not true we were not outplayed nor overrun by Swansea we had more shots on goal more chances created more possesion and more corners than them so try to be more objective and truthful next time. Carroll should not be a first team player at most a sub who comes on to late on on games to give us a different option.we need a more mobile prolific goal scorer to partner suarez and a right winger we have been promised since rafa's days and still we wait.btw brendan is still right about lucas he remains one of our biggest weak links .

We were - Swansea, yes Swansea, had the majority of possession at Anfield and played through us quite easily. If they were a little more creative up front and better finishers we'd have been fucked over. About 9 weak links in that team yesterday. We didn't turn up and Kenny has admitted we were shite. Of course, Lucas is to blame. As always.
