Really good, professional performance with some great play in the first half. That will make some teams scared.
Well of course we decided to up our game for Spurs....
Just hope we don't have to wait until Arsenal at home before we produce the same.
Mane MOTM, lifts everyone else around him.
Mig, 1 vital stop & caught every ball...give him a new contract.
Everyone else did their part, Lallana was just about everywhere on the pitch.
Completely controlled and marshalled the 2nd half how I would want us to going into a HT lead.

I don't know why but this post irritates me.
Imagine going 16 games unbeaten and going from 6th to the lofty heights of 5th, only to be back in 6th two and a half hours later.
Their 2 points behind 2nd......when they started that unbeaten record they were like 10-12 points off.
They earned no right to be in the mix back then now they're there.
It's an absolute fucking disgrace we didn't sign some pace in attack last month.

Every player did their job, Mane exceeded...Mig surprisingly so.
Ming looked pretty cool and in control coming out to collect (and catch!!!) almost everything that came into the box.
Lucas didn't put a foot wrong and put in an excellent performance.
It was a great team effort and Spurs were well beaten.

Lallana was absolutely brilliant. My MoM ahead of manè and Henderson.

Gini is a strange one. He was very good in the first half, but anonymous in the 2nd. I knew we went into a defensive scrap mode but he kind of just disappeared.
Henderson and Lallana were certainly the better midfielders in the 2nd.

A few thoughts:
- Thought the ref was very lenient on Alli - He's a dirty, petulant fucker.
- I've said that once we get that front 6 back, we'll be fine - they are really good, work well together and complement each other well.
- Such a key result for us - we couldn't afford a draw or loss, but watching us absolutely hammer a top 2 team and basically shut up shop after 45 minutes was also fucking frustrating. WHERE was this Liverpool the last few weeks? Surely we could have shown up against some of the utter drek we lost to? Disappointing - but it highlights the obvious issue, we lack depth ...
- Lucas was very solid today.
- Mane was fucking brilliant - if Lloris wasn't as brilliant, he'd have had 4.
- Henderson was on it today - really played with a chip on his shoulder against those cocky arrogant fucks.
- I don't know why, but I hate Spurs more than the Chavs or Arsenal.
