half time thoughts
- we should win this game comfortably ... just take our chance (ahem Sadio!)
- AWB is a really really good defender ...
- please stop with these fucking Robbo corners and short corners. Let TAA take them - and it will create far more imo than these pointless routines.

Nah, VVD doesn’t get the ball and lands into De Gea.

It’s always a free kick for the keeper there.

Yes, it’s usually a free-kick, but once it was not whistled there is an argument to be made that the play was reset, United had a chance to clear it, lost the ball, De Gea was back in position for some time already by the time Firmino shoot the ball. I think this decision hinges on how far back they are willing to go back to rule out a goal.

Can anyone post a rivulet in that where to watch thread please. Mine has died.

Ah man I don’t care about the VAR decisions. They’ve been made. Let’s just get on and smash this lot. They’ll come at us hard early doors as Th etc know they will tire later on. They’re all
Over the place at the back so we should get at least a couple

Agree however to me it looks like case of a ref who was about to blow, see’s Utd have the ball so doesn’t then bang it’s in the back of the net.

He played advantage and then knew he could overrule with Var. Not saying I love how soft the rules are on keepers but as soon VVD jumped in and didn’t get a touch I knew it would be given as a foul.

It was more his shoulder following through for me that knocked De Gea over

He went up for the ball ... his arms didn't bother David De Gea at all ... If De Gea catches it, it's no foul ... That he dropped it, and didn't even appeal (until the goal), highlights what kind of 'foul' it was ... Protecting goalies is important - but that was a very very soft foul and two mancs (pity it's not 3 with Pat) agree with that - RvP & Keane

I know they always rule in favour of the keeper but surley De Gea has fouled VVD in as much as VVD has fouled De Gea
