Interesting tactics from OGS, Brandon Williams playing as a kind of auxiliary wing-back/wide midfielder whose job is to prevent the overloads we normally create on the right flank with Trent, Salah and Ox. Not sure what he’s supposed to when they are in possession; he hardly gets the ball. This stifled our creativity somewhat down the right while the combination of Wan-Bissaka and Robbo’s poor passing kind of shut down the left side. Interesting what Klopp will come up with. Also interesting how much energy United have left in the tank to keep pressing high.

Pretty much, can see them sneaking a goal or us breaking them with another

He went up for the ball ... his arms didn't bother David De Gea at all ... If De Gea catches it, it's no foul ... That he dropped it, and didn't even appeal (until the goal), highlights what kind of 'foul' it was ... Protecting goalies is important - but that was a very very soft foul and two mancs (pity it's not 3 with Pat) agree with that - RvP & Keane

Yeah I'm not disagreeing that it was soft. I can just see why it was disallowed and I'm not surprised it was.

Sitter that, Mo.
