Fabinho (4) In the first half it was clear why he hasn't played. He was shite. Sat too deep and didn't look at all comfortable with what he was supposed to be doing. He also has a horrible habit of doing one thing, and then not doing anything else straight after it. Makes one pass, or tackle, and then just fucking stands there and waits a bit before thinking about doing another thing. Got better after half-time - when Klopp pointed out that Fabregas, who can't actually run, was bossing midfield at 2mph so could you please at least run around near him? - but he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team. Also seems to have patented a weird tackling technique which he does when not actually running: he just sort of falls to the ground and kicks his legs out.

Sakho used to do that all the time. Probably works in the French league

Hazard is just a phenomenal player. His little stop go move is very hard to combat. He slows up, almost leans into the opposition player and then powers past. He did it Henderson twice in a matter of minutes.

His goal was excellent but I would have liked Naby or the hapless Moreno to at least get a foot in of some sort.

The offside rule has needed to be simplified for a long time. They should go back to simple offside is offside and then the only argument can be resolved by well placed cameras.

Yeah, I presumed the goal was going to be disallowed once I saw the stills via VAR. Do I not understand the rule? It's offside no?

Well why dont you just suck him off.

I made that point about Shaqiri's performance against Southampton, but was promptly sat on by a couple of posters who said I didn't know what I was talking about! 😀
No, Refugee rightly acknowledges that maybe his teammates aren’t spotting his runs, which you failed to do sir!

Moreno should have gotten a foot into his knee, studs up, in the first five minutes and take one for the team like a man.

Not a great debut from Fab. He spent most of the first half chasing his own shadow as he tried to keep up with the pace of play. He improved in the second half, though he seems so far off teh pace at the minute.

That's probably normal given it is his full debut and the team has been doing tremendous the time he is out. It takes time to settle and it is not just an on/off switch. Bet he is going to be fine when he find the rythm and is well integrated in the team. CM is a difficult position.
