Liverpool Sign Clyne (Confirmed)

We absolutely have to have a RB this summer. That a CF then a DM and id be over the moon.

Oh and some shit hot Assistant manager.

Joyce tweeted that we've bid 10,5 rising to 12,5 and that Soton probably will accept that.

Clyne signing aswell. Fucking hell, we dont fuck about these days.

Excellent signing.

Yep it's over the news feed. Clyne bid submitted and is probably going to be accepted. He was ace in my FF team last year. Can only be good right?!

He's a good player, but he will look like a fucking mug if we continue to defend as we have done under Brodge. Throwing money at the defence and hoping it sorts itself won't cut it.

I'd have preferred a left back but he looks a good addition.

Hopefully Flanno can stay fit.

Our team is looking pretty decent now

-----------------------------Ming---------------------------
Clyne--------Skrtel--------------Sahko--------Flanno

Milner-------Henderson--------Can----------Firmino
--------------------------Coutinho-------------------------
-----------------------------Studge-----------------------------

Bench: Kolo, Moreno, Allen, Ings, Bogdon, Orgi, Gomez

All of the reliable journo's saying it's 10.5 rising to 12.5 and that Southampton will likely accept.

Got to be happy with that. He's a top class full back.

Flanagan's injured and Milner won't play RM. And where's Lallana?

One of the best right backs in the league with the potential to be the best.
10,5 mill is a great deal. He could be our first team right back for 8-9 years. Top class.

Yet people complain...

I'm actually positive about a signing for once. I usually expect them all to be shit.

As long as we defend better as a team. Which is in no way a guarantee with this manager and these coaches.

So, yeah, maybe not that positive.

Yeah, gotta be happy with this, it's just a shame we didn't get Bertrand too last Summer, we'd be sorted longterm in the fullback roles.

To be fair you have a similar attitude towards every signing we make.

Oh shit that was Clyde wasn't it!

Milner is not a CM he'll end up out wide wait and see.

I'm hoping Flanno can get fit.

Lallana faces a massive challenge to get into our team with Coutinho, Milner, Ibe and Firmino

Milner agreed to come on the basis that he would play predominantly in the middle, and we already have options out wide. Obv.he'll go where he's needed, but I'll be very surprised if he doesn't play centrally a lot of the time.

The key to Lallana's future is his fitness. If we get that right, he'll get a decent number of games IMO.

I'm surprised we're having the Clyne deal so easy. You would have thought there would be more interest from the bigger clubs.

Nope, I dont. Very lazy comment.

Bogdan - meh

Ings - decent signing for the tribunal fee considering his age and potential, and possible resale value if things doesnt work out.

Milner - Will be a very good signing

Firmino - Ditto

Clyne - Ditto

The way I'm thinking about these signings is will they continue to be good squad members once Rodgers has gone?

I think they generally will be. Ings already looks a bit of a spare part if you add in another striker, but otherwise it's all good.
