Liverpool related transfer speculation

Daily Record 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Daily record is the same as the Echo. If the transfer does happen, its not like we can say it came from nowhere. He is HG as well as Dutch, speaks English, and has an abundance of speed. Above all he has been consistent
If Slot does go for him, I can imagine Slot playing in RM and switching to 3 at the back

Love how slots walked in, ran the rule over everyone, practically won the league, and goes "3/4s of these are shite"
Some comments from Feyenoord fans in Nov:

"Knowing Slot, he is looking to replace at least 3 or 4 players already. He is good at playing the players he inherited, but his best quality is building a new team.

"He is ruthless and has no problems shipping away fan favourites. If Liverpool fans think they are playing great now, they should be totally excited for next season."

A second fan echoed those sentiments - that Slot is always chasing more control. He found it at Feyenoord, moving the club towards possession football rather than the 'kamikaze' style of his first campaign.

That's similar to what we're seeing now. The remnants of Jurgen Klopp's style remain but Slot will gradually phase them out with his own players.

In other words: there's more to come. Liverpool fans like it now - but they'll love what's happening down the line"

Sounds positive and hopefully all true but suppose it's stating the obvious that there is greater scope for rebuilds and a greater margin for error at a club like Feyenoord.

What we really need is Hughes / Edwards to pull out a couple Salah / Mane / Robertson type transfers out of a hat this summer. Value multipliers as I think peekay described them.

That reference to "too expensive" is interesting. It suggests that we're after reasonable money for Endo, which casts doubt on the view sometimes expressed on here that Slot doesn't rate him.

Aside from the fact that it's likely made up, I don't think you can infer anything from that.

We will try and get a good price for any players we're looking to sell as a matter of course.

It's not a view that slot doesn't rate him, it's a fact based on what he's done this season.

I don't think slot has anything to do with setting a valuation on a player. He may still want rid as he did at the beginning of the season, but if our valuation isn't met then he's stuck with him.

Slot be reporting back to first day of pre-season like…

Yep, we need to pull a few Peekay Blinders

Cheesie is going fucking nowhere

Cunt lives and breathes scoring open play goals in finals, unlike every other RW we have
£80-£120k per week played what 45minutes in total. Its clear Slot does not like playing him. If he doesn't get game time, he won't be selected for international duty, so its in his interest he leaves too.

If we don't sell him this year, he will leave for nothing. Guaranteed.
He's got another 2 years on his deal - we coud keep him for 2 years paying him the peanuts he's on and then let him leave on a free once he turns 30.

Or - sell him to Barca and rinse them.

Again

If he leaves this season and we recouped 40m or so, he will be a decent signing.

If he leaves on a free, he will be a poor signing. He's a substandard winger to have when we have our best players in their prime. It's not only about his relatively low wages, but rather the opportunity lost for us to get more trophies because he takes up a spot in our first team when he is blatantly not good enough. Him and Nunez both.

Alas, I don't think he will care what I think of him or what legacy he leaves behind but I hope his dad will do some magic and help us out at the end of the season.

I've got a totally half-baked theory that Arabs/North Africans are low key the best footballers. They seem to be built just right to be skillful/agile and still fast.

As such I quite like this link.
