Funny you say that, there's about 200 tweets that we're interested in Isak... but Isak is a £100m player and ain't no way we're gonna pay that for injury prone bean pole.
I could see us getting Cherki in the summer if Diaz leaves especially given the price... Is it something that excites me at the moment, no!

@King Binny - do you rate him ? - I like his build and him being French - he could be part of a future defensive line with Konate etc. His physique suggests he could be quick, and strong - don't know about his game intelligence, but has time on his hands. Good defenders are hard to find - so should we be in for him ?

I think he matches the quality of CL qualification chasing teams like Villa instead of title challenging ones like us. He'll probably sign for Villa eventually since they need to replace Diego Carlos.

The Cherki one is one to watch for a few reasons -
Slot has (rightly) been critical of Szobos output.
We are finding it harder to score against low block teams
Signing a player from a club in financial difficulty makes the lizards balls tingle.

Not saying it will or won't happen, but the conditions are all there for it to be of some interest this January. There's little room in the squad, though, so they may feel it's best holding until the summer if we are interested.
