Liverpool related transfer speculation

He’s got a very punchable face.
However he’s scored what 15 goals in 2 seasons? Not sure I would value him that highly yet. Capable yes but need to see more this season. Another City gem who made an early exit.

I’d be amazed if Liam Delap stays at Ipswich beyond this season. He’s a powerful, aggressive young striker who seems unfazed by the step up into the Premier League. He’s as close to a young Shearer type that I’ve seen in a decade.

I’m calling a 60-70m move next summer to a top six side.

When will this Fecker declare for Ireland. Come and shine young fella, rather than sitting on the bench for Engerland

Hope it's just paper talk. I had no problem with him deciding to stay put at Sociedad, but it begins to look as though he hardly made a decision at all but basically just ran screaming into the night. I'd want more mental strength from a Liverpool signing than that.

Didn’t I read somewhere that he has yet to sign the new contract Sociedad offered him?

Hopefully his decision making on passing is better than on transfers.

There's an English saying that "the apple never falls far from the tree", but it doesn't apply in football and Delap is one example. Jack Grealish is another - his dad Tony was a decent but not outstanding MF with a mere fraction of his son's attacking talent, though a sight more consistency.

Is this a whoosh? I’m guessing you know the two Grealishes aren’t related? Tony would be more like Gramps!

Appaz they didn't keep their word about a new contract after he rejected a move this summer. It was quite quickly off the table and their poor start to the season, Sporting director leaving and contract issues would be enough for most to reconsider.

Not only that… but we should fucking low ball the cunts and then threaten to have his mammies mammeries cut off.

Fixed

@bluebell - who are we gonna sign, what is the word on the street ? Do you know of any player that is like Camavinga ? Is that guy from Atalanta like him ? Also not sure Zubi is gonna be good emough for PL.

Zubi is a little wetwipe with cold feet who looks like he should be on Ice Age. Wouldn’t be able to hack it on a cold, wet, windy Tuesday night in Stoke nevermind the Premier League.

Plus he’s absolutely fucking shite.

Pressure schmessure. He needed to be able to withstand that if coming here was what he really wanted. If he's going to tiddle about over something like that, how will he stand up to the pressure of joining the Premier League leaders?

Nah. Compare it to Stevie.

Sorry mate but I don't think so. After Stevie decided not to go he didn't then start fluttering his eyelids at Chelsea again.

Ran Diaz on google and there were a few articles stating Diaz's performance as "sensational" this season.

Come on now. :yellowcard:
