It's wild that if pep trusted his youth more that his team would have been in much better shape. The main argument I suppose would have been that they've beenso focusing on appearing to maintain ffp for a few yearspaying so much money to lawyers to try and get them off. That's they've missed out
No, waiting for VVD legs to fail, just like our midfielders legs failed.Do we ever plan to sign another defender again?
We've literally signed about 2 in the last 7 years.

No, apparently you’re allowed to develop and bring through youth players which means you don’t have to buy - particularly when the ones you already have are mostly in their prime years.
So we’ve signed 2 in 7 years… it to quibble, but we signed Robbo, Tsimikas, Virgil & Konate, which is 4, not 2, in those 7 years; we had Matip & Gomez already at the club, and we’ve brought through Trent, Bradley & Quansah in that time.l ( not to mention Nico Williams & Van den berg who we sold and we don’t even need to mention Nate & Rhys Williams who are on loan).
So yeah… we probably are like.. going to sign a defender… like… when we need to like… sign a defender… which we’ll likely do… like… when we find one that’s better that what we have.
This is the kind of attitude that goes 35 years with 1 league title and almost 20 years with 1 CL and is where people like....like.....like.....you and me differ.
Man city is the reason why we don’t have at least 3 more titles in the last few years. More than the aforementioned philosophy.
Yes & no.
Man City never made Karius single handedly cost us a CL, nor were they involved in us signing the cunt in the first place.
Nor did Man City ever leave our ageing squad to rot, nor did they hinder us bolstering our squad where we had the chance due to carrying multiple injury crocks and having to play a 77 year old at LB.
Nor did Man City prevent us signing the players we needed in the summer, nor are they proving to be an obstacle in failed contract talks to key players....or at least I don't think so.
The reason we haven't won more, will and will always be on people like JWH, Edwards and now Hughes. Individuals associated with the club but really only have their self-interest at heart.
Napkin math says their asset has doubled the rate of return of the stock market over the last 14 years. Our owners have their flaws, but they don't make a ton of money from this. Their benefit is from selling in the future, a highly valued business.
You think these top teams will just gift us their biggest talents?Xavi Simons can play just about anywhere in attack but for the fee PSG would want I'm not sure about that one.
Feels a bit like a Carvalho type move for us. Albeit higher quality.
From PSG I'd rather sign Warren Zaïre-Emery.

Warren Zaïre-Emery is someone Real or Barca gets.
We sign rejects from these types of teams. Like Sakho.Yes. Yes, I do.
In all seriousness he's the type of player we should be looking at if we're signing someone from PSG.
Top tier talent, and why wouldnt he want to come to us? We're fucking boss. So why not try?

You are so calm, how do you do it when we draw or lose. I wish I was like you.Need a new CB, DM, CF, LB and RB but Edwards and Hughes are too busy giving each other rim jobs - probably planning to go away together for Christmas too the cunts, that’s why we won’t win anything again. Deja vu.
Honestly though, why do people engage with rim jobs? It's the most unhygienic carnal act.Need a new CB, DM, CF, LB and RB but Edwards and Hughes are too busy giving each other rim jobs - probably planning to go away together for Christmas too the cunts, that’s why we won’t win anything again. Who?
He's very.. very.. good
