Yes, for the past 20 minutes I've been defending Milans managerial choices vehemently ....

I really don't care what you think in regards to the Madrid choices, cause I know you're wrong.

If you were to check for yourself, you'd see that none of these managers were average too.

Prior to Madrid, none of these managers were thought of as average!

They all had decent records

End of.
Bollocks.

The End.

Get back on Wiki Brendan.

Look at all their records prior to Madrid.

They don't just pluck them out of obscurity believe it or not.

I wouldn't bother HC, he's just acting the twat again.

Bren thinks that Rafa is a useless cunt, so the men in charge of AC Milan, Juve, Inter and Real must all be wrong (obviously).

Why the FUCK are you still banging on about Madrid only?

The original comment by O'Tomkins that I reacted to was about the "minnows" (sic) of football - Inter, Milan, Madrid, Juve - being linked (however realistically) to Benitez.

And I responded - correctly - that they've all been managed by some total bellends recently.

So shut the fuck up, I beg you.

I don't know why you feel the need to add FUCK etc in capital letters as if it some how adds weight to an argument.

The last few pages were pointless from both of ye.

To sum up: Brendan thinks that the clubs mentioned above have employed average managers in the past. HC is under the impression that 'some' of them are above average and did decent jobs in their respective roles. There is some truth in both of your arguments, why is there a need for a big debate? To prove Ryan wrong? Who cares.

You're so angry.

Okay - Inter - Mancini - Oh yeah - three CONSECUTIVE league titles, and three domestic cup's in 5 years?

Fuck me that's shocking.

Oh wait it gets worse - He'd won the league with both Lazio and Fiorentina in the 5 years proceeding that, he was clearly a risky signing by the Inter board.

Ranieri - took the team from the 2nd division to 3rd in the first division.

Prior to this, he had managed Chelsea, Valencia, Athletico Madrid a d Fiorentina

Yeah he only won some league 2 titles, the Intertoto cup, the super cup and copa del ray - so not the most impressive management haul - perhaps the fact that so many household names in European Club football signed him, meant he was considered a better than average manager before joining Juve.

Leonardo - a definite gamble but also seen as an legend with in Milans ranks - won't be the first time a club legend lands himself a job without proper qualifications and won't be the last.

Ferrera was the assistant manager of a world cup winning side - regardless of whether they were lucky or should or shouldn't have won it, he was still the Assistant manager.

He also spent some 10 years playing at the club.

So,yeah - sentiment aside - I'd say all of the above were more than qualified to sit in a pigeon hole other than 'average'

Jesus. Are you sure you're arguing against me?

So Ryan is trying to prove that this Forum is full of thickos based on nothing more than newspaper speculation. And everyone is getting very angry based on the same made up stories. Why?

Asked about Benítez, Inter's sporting director Marco Branca told Sky Italia: "We absolutely have had no contact with Benítez. Our coach is Jose Mourinho."

We're stuck with him
Think positive we could get worse than benitez and end up fighting for survival in the premiership .its a choice between bad and worse it seems unless we get new owners with cash who can pay-off rafa and bring in a coach this club needs and deserves to bring back the greatness of old .

There is no worse manager for us right now than Benitez.

We're heading for mid table mediocrity because of him.

Looks like another 4 years....

Inter feel like our last hope. I was convinced Rafa would go to Juve.

Its true.

He may be a top manager for another club but he is clearly of no use to us right now
