the sad thing is Vlad there's a world full of idiots who'll recite his rewritten version of events in an effort to defend him.
and to denigrate Crouchy, who apart from being another victim of Rafa's S&M regime, loved being in the area and loved the club.

The hardest ?

Ross is always going to figure because of his rugby/chunky/training/thing.

I'm not in the slightest bit hard, and I can't fight. So it's not me.

If I ever have the pleasure of meeting Benitez I'm going to punch him square in the face.

Rafa Benitez is staying at Liverpool.

After weeks of speculation about his future friends say he wants to remain on Merseyside “if he is allowedâ€.

Rafa Benitez makes his case for the defence: an exclusive interview by Guillem Balague

Juventus and Inter Milan have wanted to end his six years in charge of Liverpool, but despite a difficult season Benitez has decided he will continue at Anfield.

Controversial American owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks are looking to sell up, but Benitez is prepared to deal with the uncertainty believing he can take the club back into the top four and challenge for major trophies.

Taking into account that Jose has said he'll be at Real next season and the recent result we had in our poll, SCM should be very pleased with this news.

Personally i'm delighted.

spread the rafa love! yay!

to be honest rafa has this season and that's it, another season like the last one and even I'll want him out. two seasons of decline is unacceptable regardless of off the pitch turmoil.

I only hope the yanks find some money for transfers from 'somewhere' to protect their investment before we become worthless.

There's been a story recently that they are prepared to release some money but not to Rafa, as they're not satisfied with his transfer record. If there's any truth in that, either he or they have to go before we can start making any progress.

No more delighted than Salford tho.

Not yet it isn't. Discussions are continuing between him and Broughton, presumably because Rafa's still after a bigger transfer kitty. It's not yet clear that he'll stay if doesn't get what he wants in that respect - or that the owners won't bite the bullet and sack him (note that reference to "if he is allowed&quot😉.

1002 BST: Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has ruled out press reports that he could be on his way out of Anfield to coach the national team of the United Arab Emirates. "I am very happy here in Liverpool. I have always been happy and I want to stay here for a long time - if it is possible," said Benitez. (Agence France-Presse)

If only he were so quick to deny the Juve rumours, I might have even respected his decision to stay.

If Rafa signed an affidavit stating that he will never pick Lucas in the starting 11 ever again then I would go back to the pro-Rafa camp.

Haha... Rafa at 50% as I write. was 34% when I voted. He's ahead coz he's the best of the 4. I think a poll with Hiddink, Jose Mourihno, Daglish, Harry Redknapp would produce different outcome!

Another season like the last and we will be lucky to Still be in business.

Pesam> agreed. If he sold Lucarse, Insua and Eggnog this summer, I would be willing to give him one more chance

But he won't, so fuck him

Try it & see then.

I didn't put Mourinho into the original poll because anyone with half a fucking brain would

a) vote for him, and
b) knew he was never in a million years be coming here

So it seemed doubly pointless

I'd be interested against Daglish (cos he'd be most likely to replace him, at least temporarily), & Redknapp though, Harry cos I dont regard him that highly, but I think many would still take him over Rafa.

There would still be a boat load of crets who would harp on about him not conforming to "The Liverpool Way."

It wouldn't be as obvious as you think.

I'd definitely take Kenny over Rafa. We played some of our greatest ever football under him - plus - I'm an old school romantic. Fuck all this 'he's been out of the game too long nonsense.'

If Rafa goes I'd take the King as caretaker in a heartbeat. The whole club would breathe a sigh of relief and it would allow us to search/wait for the right permanent appointment, rather than just take the best available at the moment.

fucking hell, please tell me that's sarcasm, I can't tell with you anymore.

I'm now putting all my karmic energy into attracting Capello to Anfield.

He clearly wont stay with England beyond the World Cup, has recently mastered the language, and although probably waiting for the Man U job, may be convinced to come on the back of our historic standing. Also it would put him into a head to head with Mourinho for the top spot amongst European managers (winnning the championship in all 3 biggest leagues).

Its unlikely, but I prefer the fantasy to the reality of putting up with Rafas bullshit for another 12months.
I think Capello will be with England until the Euro's. There were strong rumours he was off to Russia, but last I heard he was staying put.

Me too. So should we want England to fail embarrassingly to make Capello a cheaper option, or to win the WC so he feels he can't do anything more with them?
